I will always love Don McLean's version the best, but I find myself listening to Declan's interpretation over and over.... Maybe 50 times LOL? I finally broke down and bought his "Thank You" CD. So glad I did, I love all the songs. I noticed right away that he doesn't do what I consider "questionable" themes. Very unique in this day and age.

I wish you all the success Declan! I will order a few more of the same CD's as gifts...

In my opinion, his teen voice and style was perfectly fitted for China market, songs like "An Angel" "Vincent" "the last unicorn" could be very popular; but his China tour if kind of late and showed that firstly his voice is changing; secondly he leaned towards Rock&Roll -- frankly I dont think Chinese are ready/in favor of that type of music -- at least not now. In another hand US market is a very harsh water to tread, he needs not only talent, but strength and money to break into.
