I could see him as Paul, definitely! I really wonder why they didn't offer him at least one of the roles....but as a friend pointed out to me after seeing this vid (she'd never heard of him) he's almost too attractive to share a screen with Taylor Lautner. He would be a distraction. I can see her point; I love Taylor, but I wouldn't be looking at him for ten seconds if Eddie was Sam!! Even Chaske is a distraction, for me anyway! :)

Of course I've heard of "Twilight" - I'm only partially under a rock, but don't know a lot about the movie. If the character was a Native, why cast a non-Native?? That's why I don't watch many mainstream Hollywood movies - the racism, as though a Native isn't good enough to play a Native role! Come into the 21st cen. Hollywood!!

My grandfather was a full blooded native cherokee indian and it runs through the blood. I'm proud of my indian heritage and wouldn't change it. I'm ashamed to be white because they done my indian family horribly wrong by murdering thousand people over a piece of land we call "USA"

What I think should be said here, is that yes, the white men of old were responsible for many, many wrongs committed. Secondly, the people of today aren't responsible for those wrongs. Also, there were bad white man, and there were bad indians. "Evil" on both sides. One side cannot take all the blame. The majority of it, yes, but not all. Also, take pride in all of your heritage! I have both indian and white blood and I love it!
