@spongenooob You're not the only person to ask this. If I knew, I'd tell you. I have every soundtrack of every Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid game ever made. It's funny that Kojima, a Japanese man understands the truth about the U.S gov't and the way it treats our soldiers better than our own people.(Americans) do. @nicelemon2 Sniper Wolf's death is really overrated imo. There's another Kojima game you should play called SNATCHER that has a death that's almost as good as this one, though. I won't spoil who dies but it's at the very end of Act 2 and this person dies in your character's arms :( Then you learn something immediately after that which makes this person's death 1000x more powerful and sad. Get the SegaCD version, as it's the most uncensored release if you want to play it.

and i don't feel that im overexaggerating at all. the story is very moving and you become somewhat engulfed in it. and if you play peace walker and get EVA's tapes she(EVA) tells the whole story of how the boss ended up on that final mission in detail. and it makes the ending even more sad. you could probably relate more if you played it. but hey ppl react differently to stuff.

@Jimpetey2 The Subsistence and the Essential Collection versions feature a 360 degree camera like the one in MGS4, plus you can switch back to bird's eye when you need it. It makes the game a million of times better.

@themalachijethro just half of them. He was tortured in MGS1 and MGS3, but not in MGS2-- Raiden was tortured in MGS2. so in most MGS games the main character is tortured.
You aren't tortured by anyone in MGS4, but Snake basically tortures himself during the last level by forcing himself to walk down this very long microwave tube and getting all burnt up :x

@themalachijethro it was shot out by Ocelot when snaked jumped in front of him to block a bullet that would have killed EVA (while he was being tortured on top of that).
it happens maybe 3/4 through the game.

@themalachijethro just half of them. He was tortured in MGS1 and MGS3, but not in MGS2-- Raiden was tortured in MGS2. so in most MGS games the main character is tortured.
You aren't tortured by anyone in MGS4, but Snake basically tortures himself during the last level by forcing himself to walk down this very long microwave tube and getting all burnt up :x

God, Snake has been through so much but he still goes on fighting after all the pain&suffering. He is a true soldier&hero. We have learned alot from Snake. But also we learned alot from The Boss. May her soul rest in peace. Thank you, Boss...
