Our zucchini was that big last summer and some people were saying that it was left out in the garden too long-I mean we did come and go throughout the summer but the squash still tasted great!
you should explain that if they are f1 seeds they won't be the same veg as the one they came from when they grow next year. Same as in taste or perhaps conformation . Only works with heritage seeds if they are kept away from cross pollination.

A couple of caveats - Seed labeled F1 is a hybrid, and the resulting saved seed is not likely to reproduce true. Also, if you have related plants next to each other, like Jalepeno peppers and Green Bell peppers, the fruit will be fine, but the seeds may be a surprising mix of the two, as the busy little bees happily cross-pollinate them.
Awesome video! We should all learn about seed saving as we will definitely be needing that skill in the near future! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
awesome, not sure if you've watched my garden videos but I have 3 zucchini plants growing and I'm starting to think about seed saving. It's not 100% necessary this time around but i'd like to practice before it becomes totally necessary.
Thanks for your video, how many days did it take for yours to dry? Oh and do I need to wash them before placing on the paper toweling? Carmen

Great video. Doing more complicated saves like tomatoes would be cool. I like to see others methods.
