Hey delmem how you doing? I just wanted to bring something up to you to get some feedback on what you think. I couldn't wait to start HCG cause I had the shipment & everything else but a glass vial. ugh but anyhoo I went ahead and used your mixing instructions using 10ml's for 5000iu in the plastic bottled BAC water or 30ml's. I took out 20ml's and threw away, then 1ml for the hcg vial, then put 1ml back in the BAC water bottle 3wks later prego test came out positive but I didnt lose much why?

I've heard from several who used the bac water bottle & lost inline with most everyone else... everyone keeps throwing out "a pound a day" - even Dr Simeons mentioned that in Pounds & Inches. A much more accurate expectation for women needing to lose 50 lbs or more is 10% of your post load weight. IE: If post load is 170 - 17 lbs in 30 days, 200 - 20 lbs, 300 - 30 lbs. Guys tend to lose at a slightly higher percentage.

Hey Tim, this is for 5000 right ? I thought it was for 2000 . So I want to take 175 and I mixed as directed so I need to take about .8 right? Answer as soon as possible please.

Yeppers - was for a 5000 in 10ml.

For your 2000 in 10ml - 0.8 will give you 160 IU, 0.9 will be 180 IU.

thats a small needle what size is that your injecting yourself with.

I use 29ga 1/2" - shorter and thinner than that has issues, easily bent needles, and with the 5/16" length larger people might not be able to make shallow IM, though subQ is generally as effective.

I am very confused. I did go to a clinic and regret ot knowing all of this before they soaked me. Anyway, so far I have lost 25 pounds after my first round of HCG. I did 40 injections.They showed me how to mix the hcg and how to withdraw it from the vile and they never instructed me to pull out air and put air in. What is all this about?

It's not technically mandatory - whenever you pull liquid out of a sealed container you're creating a vacuum which sometimes makes it harder to get the liquid out. By injecting air equal to the volume you remove it just keeps internal equalized pressure and is easier to work with.

hi delmen,a friend helped me get started. he told me to draw 1/2 cc into syringe is this equal to .125? AGAIN I'm drawing .50 [1/2]cc into needle. today i start vlcd,i gained 5 pounds on 2 loading days ugh! thanks for your vids.

Need to know what strength hCG you have and how much diluent was added to it to know amount of IUs in a specific volume. 0.5cc would be correct for 125 IU if 20ml was added to a 5000 IU amp. (I add 10ml amd take 0.25cc for 125 IU, same ratio different concentration)

Hi Delmem,

I just received my HCG (pregnyl by Organon), but it came in 10,000 IU, not 5,000 IU. The water that came with it is 10ml. If I put all the HCG into it, it wll be double the strength of the 5,000 iu, right?? Then do I administer .150 cc?? And is that once a day or twice a day? This is a bit mind boggleing. Hiya Rocky.

10K with 10ml - yes, 0.15cc (15 units on an insulin syringe) will yield 150 IU of hCG.

With 10,000 IU amps I suggest using 0.3cc syringes to be as accurate as you can be with such low dose volumes, but 0.5cc are reasonably accurate as well - and with a certain margin of error in the effective range you should do alright.

Once a day for injections. (I did try splitting the dose, no dramatic increase in losses observed)

I want to know if I can use "sterile water" instead of Bac. Water? Also can I just use the water vial instead of another vial to hold my mixture and draw from? Or should/could I mix and draw up the entire vial into daily syringes, and store them in the refridgerator.I am just wondering if this would be okay.

You can use sterile water for injection. Yes, you can use the vial it comes in. If using HuCog can just store it in the fridge, if Organon you can measure all your daily doses at once and store in a ziplock or sealed container. Either way is fine, depends on your preference.

Hi Dave. You push air in before you take liquid out or it's sometimes difficult to get it out. If I didn't pull air out of the sterile vial before putting the liquid in, it'd end up with 10cc of PRESSURE behind it.

I created a vac. all at once in the vid, can also do it 3-5cc at a time as you place liquid in.

I was trained to leave a small amount of vacuum in vials that stay at room temp. Simeons noted not to in P&I, being refrigerated & w/benzyl alcohol from bac water preservation covered

Now T-Bone, why do you put all that air in ti creat a vaccum? Is better preservation because less air is exposed to the hCG?
