@louilover1 No. Parrots can be very difficult pets, they live for a very long time, they become very dependent on their owner, they are for all intents and purposes wild animals so without proper training they are aggressive and problematic.
@kiliparrot yes i agree with kiliparrot, my first pet bird was a parakeet. birds requir much more of everything thatn a dog does. last year i just got myself a cockatiel, im 16 and im paying for his food, toys, extra accesories. a 13 year old kid with a conure no. you will probably doing everything for the bird.
@louilover1 What about a budgie? They're a type of small parakeet that can also be tamed. Their bites can't do as much damage as a conure. Also, in PetSmart they only cost $20, but with proper care they can live up to 15 years. I actually have two budgies, and if you want to see an example of them go to my channel. It's my latest video. :) And actually I'm 12, and have had budgies since I was 7.
lol just looking at trumans beak and thinking of him biting makes me cringe! and im getting a african grey this friday!!! but im ready to take the pain aslong as in the end i get a new best friend :)
ROTFL!!! My brown head does the exact same thing when she's eating. She'll take part of it, spit it out and go for something else. It is so funny to see Kili doing the exact same thing. I also love @ 1:29, she kinda snatches the piece from the other bird and kinda runs away. Jade is famous for doing this with me, like I'm going to take it back. Just out of curiousity does Kili try and regurgitate for you? Jade likes to do this on my fingers...I highly discourage it, but it's pretty funny,
You have done an amazing job raising you feathered children. I look forward to your videos and enjoy them. Blessings to you all for a Happy Thanksgiving!
I love the devastation they left behind on the table! I hope my new baby pineapple conure eventually takes to the fruit & treats I offer her. My halfmoon loved fruit & other treats and would leave behind devastation like your birds. I miss that! :-)
Awww, that's adorable. Pixie had her Thanksgiving feast yesterday (even though we don't celebrate Tanksgiving it can be concidered a feast) She had an egg (cocked for 10 mins) with the shell and all, and I got her a wooden perch that is too long for her cage so she can chew it up instead.
Looks like kilo likes banana

is it bad to buy a senegal if it is already 9 months old
ryedude77 3 months ago
@ryedude77 No, not at all. It may just be a little harder to train, but 9 months is ok, as long as it is weaned.
