Hey , I have had my braces for about a year now and everytime I get them tightened I am in in the worst pain for a week. And my orthodontist said that I was just very sensative. But when we went to my dentist he told us that my ortho had done it wrong and that my jaw is to small now so I have to go through so much pain everytime they are tightened. I also have the ceramic braces too so I was glad that there was this video. Thanks

my orthodontist suggested to clean my retainers with just normal liquid soap- it cleans it properly and it's not as abrasive as toothpaste and, believe me, it doesn't taste like soap if you rinse it off properly:)

Ah! This video brings back memories :) I had braces, not the ceramic ones, the regular silver ones. What I would say to girls is go with a dark blue, or a dark turquoise elastic 'cause it'll make your teeth look whiter :) also, denture cleaners work well as a retainer disinfectant and 95% of the guys I know think braces are cute!
