  • eres grande!!

  • Hey as everybody else said. sustain pedal mustn't be used in this peace.but you play well according to your age. whats ur age?

  • Nice but he's dance doesn't good while playing

  • ....Bad

  • D:

  • ATHYH377 -when your playing completely by memory (and this if 5 Pages, plus repeats) you don't have Music to read and the Adrenaline starts pumping through your veins, I find I do similar movements. As with me it's natural and involuntary in my experience.

To anyone with negative crap to say put your post up of you playing Mozart's Sonata K545. Until you do just be jealous and shut up. No it wasn't perfect but for a child prodigy, that memorized that piece. Look at sheet the music alone there'

  • I have been playing Piano since the 3rd grade and teaching for half that time and I have never before seen such a beautiful show of talent and on K545, in my opinion one of the most beautiful pieces Mozart composed. I would enjoy very much to hear you play that on full size 25' concert grand piano. I tip my hat to you. I also look forward to showing my students how much they too could achieve with the practice and passion you clearly have. I hope you never stop or take a break your potential is

  • u move around a lot. why?

  • I think it was splendid! The tempo is great! And stop saying you want to chop off his God damn foot and stop yelling at him, people! We're all decent, cultivated human beings listening to beautiful classical music, not serial killers or morbid tribal hunters.

  • wow... the comments on here are just plain detestable...yes, the boy didn't play like he practices 10 hours a day, but he nevertheless put feeling, emotion, and heart into a very well known piece. Putting him down, calling him names, and acting foolish by insulting him won't make him a better pianist, happy to read your comments, or respect you any more than the phrase 'your doing it wrong fatass' will.

  • @36770sam he's doing it wrong, fatass.

  • wow! acording his channel he is 10yr old here! I think its awesomefor his age, so f*** ur "pedal" comments

  • your doing it wrong fatass

  • plz dont use pedal..

  • Horrible

  • You did a good job hiding the mistakes by your high energy ang self-confidence.

  • He really enjoys this piece. Thats enough for me... and for him :)

  • very bad

  • Ben, you are amazing! This is very enjoyable to listen to. Thank you for sharing your talent with others, so we can enjoy it as well.

  • I use the sustain during the massive trill parts, to make it seem more expressive.

  • actually using the sostain is something you normally do when you cant play the song the right way. it happens to me too XD but you can change it ;D

no offense I mean being that young and be able to play the 1st movement is quite amazing :D

  • yo this is a child !! how old r u ppl? dont rip on a kid thats probly half ur age

  • im gonna rip that sustain pedal of ur piano

  • you like showing off eh?well you need to change that because keep messing up

  • Comment removed

  • @AIREANDA Your attitude stinks. Leave the kid alone!

  • @1Camille2 you know what?you are right! i apologize to the kid and i will remove my negative comments, but only for you @1camile2 because i was watching you on your video to ALLIE you are a good friend

  • @AIREANDA I saw notifications from you and I got nervous, but that was really nice what you did! It's hard sometimes, but it's so much better to be a little nicer than we normally would. At the end of the day, we're all just trying to make something good and worthwhile happen.

    You made my day AIRANDA!

This kis is just so passionate and it's hard to find that in our young people, so he's already unique and ahead of most kids his age.

  • Nice playing. I love Mozart!! But Beethoven a teeny bit better. Do you know how to play Fur Elise? I`m on theory two but I go for difficult sonatas and songs by legendary composers. I`m about the same age as you. Please comment back in a nice way

  • I want to chop off the foot that is on that stupid pedal. omg

  • this little fuckin mexican is too wild

  • SMETTILA DI RECITARE E LEVA STU PEDALE!!!!

  • stop raping mozart's legacy!!!!!

  • Parebens.

  • u just ruined this piece

  • YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE SUSTAIN!!!! :@

  • When it's a slow tempo: like adagio, for example the first movement of sonata k.282.

  • why do people say no sustain pedal? =S

  • @faleru because it's mozart lol.

    Bach= No pedal

Mozart= No pedal except a few cases.

    Beethoven= a little more pedal

    Chopin =PEDAAAAAAAL

  • @hellboyreloaded =O! and how do you know when to use pedal with mozart? im sure he used it

  • @faleru When it's a slow tempo, for example, adagio, like the first mvt. of k.282, not in a fast tempo, because it sounds too rushed.

  • @hellboyreloaded i was WROOOOONG!

  • AARARFGGHG!!! No Sustain!

  • Why does everyone keep saying this guy is jamming/banging on the keys? It seems loud because of the room acoustics and the fact that the piano is open. But the sustain pedal really is annoying.

  • Wow you are amazing. Love it!

  • damn. its not perfect but he has his heart set on this instrument. you can see it by the way he plays.

  • do you even try....... it apper5as that you half way care about wat you are playing and that is amazingand hardto do. as tho your just listening to acd or radioand the music is just in audible resonance in your mind.

  • do you even try....... it apper5as that you half way care about wat you are playing and that is amazingand hardto do.

  • ouch...

  • your head moves back and fourth like a chicken but mice playing anyways

  • I love how you're so into it :) Now, I want to learn how to play this!

  • Less pedal, and by less, i mean none. Also, Stacato is not synonymous with forte. Those notes that you're hammering are supposed to be very quick and light. Otherwise, well done.

  • Someone's jamming out.

  • yo how old r u

  • Comment removed

  • quite good, but you should sometimes take your foot off the pedal :D and you should play it more "mozartly", i mean not so furious but more dolce. and you often play to loudly, try to control the volume.

  • @ConradLocke Wasn't it Mozart who played so loud that he broke strings?

  • @kikook222 i don't know, i have never seen him live ;)

but i mean, the boy here's slamming his fingers onto the keys :D

  • @kikook222 naah that was beethoven xD

  • @faleru Lol thanks, I get them mixed up so much it's not even funny.

  • this music is child's play....get it! :D

  • OH MY GOD WHERE IS YOUR HAIR

  • A ton of messups! But there are some good things. Too much expression. I am recently playing this, and it really shouldn't go that fast.

  • You really enjoy it, and that's all you can ask to a musician. Keep it up, you're amazing! ;)

  • very.... enthusiastic ... :p

  • Hey, you know, your really good! you are probably my favourite piano player! Hey guys! watch my lego star wars videos! they're awesome! If you don't think, then tell me right away and i could make remakes.

  • its a little bit slow but still good

  • WoW! Thanks for the video!

  • Dang! You got it going little man! Keep at it amazing Ben.

  • Seems like you forgot all the dynamics. Playing without accents and dynamics makes this piece monotone.

  • eh... try to release the pedal for some time...

  • How old is he o.e..??

  • You're steady at playing!Keep it up

  • you play good, but u arranged it? you played it wrong at 1:20 ~ 1:25...

but the rest was good ;)

  • Você é de onde? e quants anos tem atualmente? você é genial!!!! o pessoal do bacharel em piano fica perdendo pra você considerando a idade também. Você é magnifico, vai chegar muito longe!!!!

  • ive been wanting 2 play that song 4 a decade but my teacher thought that I was not good enoughh

  • how old are you,

  • why all forte? he needs to learn dynamics. they should not be all loud. right hand should be louder in some parts and left hand should also be louder in some parts.

  • lol i played this when i was 8!

  • Loved it Ben, WOW :)

  • He doesn't play it better than Yuja Wang, and being able to play this myself, I know for a fact that Yuja Wang plays it with far more accuracy than he is playing it here. Also, he needs to cut out all that bouncing. This is classical music, not hip hop!

  • @andrew190495 HE IS JUST A CHILD YOU MORON.... DID YOU PLAY SO WELL ON HIS AGE ?

    NO !

  • Yuja Wang was just a child when she recorded it. In fact she looked younger than him. I only mentioned it because utki17 said he was better than Wang. I'm not saying he plays it terribly, just not as well as Yuja Wang.

  • ....dilettante????

  • man man man!!!

  • very nice !!!! At such a young age....really impressive....Something like Yuja wang at 10, but better

One doubt :- is the piano tuned properly ?

  • try not to make mistakes

  • um slow it down! i know i play this too im only 10, but u really need to slow the tempo but only like 50 beats. nice work though

  • I agree

  • no..... this is the tempo of the original song, if not, its faster

  • he sped it up to match the original tempo

  • bravo sei un bravo dilettante

  • piano sucksits so bag it has a fricking echo lmao otherwise he speeds and has no diferation is sound petal and tempo

  • bravo,bravo!

  • ahahahas, this is entertaining.

    youre really good boy.

  • mmm quake errrore di lettura... ma per la tua età la sai fare abbastanza bn

  • u seem to enjoy playing.

    =)

  • classic and pedal ???? its very terrible

  • This guy is awesome! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! How old are you?

  • muchas felicidades sigue asi

  • lovely. you played it at just the right speed.

  • very nice one

  • I think Mozart was having as much fun composing it as you playing it, lol, amazing performance and thanks a lot for posting this, amazing Ben.

  • Comment removed

  • how old id he?

  • This is a easy sonata

  • I wouldn't call it easy.

  • well actually it is XDD

  • You can tell he enjoyed playing it; and therefore we enjoyed his performance!

  • i would have to agree with

sammiekrocks123. i think one thing to add to it is body language. when you are performing you need to act appropriately to the piece. when i watch you play this song. it looks like a kid playing a game almost. granted i could never play this piece (and i'm a trombone player) and you do a good job of playing. just keep body language in the back of your head while you perform.

  • excelent

    very very good

  • He looks so into it! Wonderful! But really, why are you using the pedal?

  • Excellent you have amazing hands, I just started learning this piece. The second trill on the time mesure 15 you do

    A-G-A-G-F#

  • Love that this young kid is so into playing this piece....may not be your typical classical Mozart rendition, and may not be technically perfect, but I love how he's just rocking out to this piece! Lots of potential for this boy....

  • gosh damn...

  • you were off in places

and sometimes you were a bit hard on the keys

and why did you hold the sustaining pedal?

but i couldn't play like this when i was ur age so i can't really criticize

and i still can't play the trills that fast :)

  • 4531

  • Why are you using pedal? There is not supposed to be any sustain in this piece... -_-

  • @cfwpiano @popottone cmon. stop bothering him, they played it sooooooooooooooooooo well.

  • @tvfusquinhafilmes He played it with pedal. So no, he didn't.

  • Man, you just need a white wig, a colonial tux, and ur named changed to Mozart!!! And I've played this song before, but ur not suposed to play the song that fast

  • hah i play the song just like you. but i don't move my head around like a head banger

  • dude this is not rock music, go easy on the keys

  • i would agree to disagree, it sounds kind of interesting with the speed increase.

  • dude this song is from the classical era not romantic so there wont be any speed ups in that his beat is just bad but he played it pretty well

  • @twinsturbosfan hahahahhahahahah!!

  • excelente mi amigo!

  • i thought it was good

  • omg! you are totally AMAZING!!! if i made a recital for people like you... you would get first place no matter what!!!!!

  • damn all this kid needs is a powdered wig to pull off playing this song. he's fuckin great!!!

  • It almost looks like you're dancing. I like it. Very few people are as passionate as you, so keep it up.

  • Little...Lang lang ? ( -____- )

  • very nice but it could have been much better old chum. had a few mistakes but well done

  • Ha your joking right? You can watch the hammers move

  • every time i here this little tune i want to drink some tea so bad! very well done

  • You are great talent. But sonata is played in "prestissimo" , tha is not what menaed Mr Mozart. Connect your excellent technique with the feeling af gerat pianist Mr. Horowitz

  • BEN, BEN, BEN!!!!!!

It's great to see all of these people falling to thier knees before you for playing this piece. But Let me tell you something......

There were parts in which you had no control of the music. The pace and speed were out of control! So much so, that it was distracting and it took away from your performance! Anyone can can be taught to place their fingers over the keys and make notes, but not everyone can give the piece the feeling originally meant by the composer. Work on it!

  • Fabulous! Last year I heard an accomplished concert pianist speak about practicing as a boy. He worked very hard on a piece for his teacher who, upon hearing it, said all she heard were "notes, notes, notes." She wanted to hear "music." Ben plays beautiful music. He's not just hitting notes in sequence. You can really tell he feels the music. Ben, you're a joy to listen to.

  • As always, excellent.

Ben, check out the news. Someone just found a piece of music written by Mozart that has never been heard.

    Tom

  • Hi Tom,

    Thanks a lot my friend

I read that a researcher says a single sheet of Mozart original music was found in a

    French library

  • I can play this myself! Great job!

  • OMG!!!!!! so very good

  • Very.. hmm what's the word? Passionate! Great Performance!

  • 0:37 is what troubles me...you did really good though...nice work at 2:25 as well. Left hand scaling is tough

  • complimenti ma il pedale non si usa mi pare...

  • Bravissimo ragazzo!

  • muy bien! yo también estoy practicando esto! 5 estrellas!

    Tom

  • im playing that right now myself! that's very hard, good job man

  • zesty! love it.

  • Ben, I like it! :) I remember playing this piece... I like the way you play it, you always make the pieces more interesting! :)

  • 5 Star's, Ben! I've been reading all these critic's comments. :c) If they can do better, let them post a video response!

Perfection comes with practice, and I think you're doing great, my friend!

    God bless Ben, and family!

    GinMillBill

  • molto presto possibile

  • I think that you're just jealous because he doesn't suck, and you obviously do for saying something so crass.

  • I remember pLaying that in my piano lessons but NEVER as good as that!!! WOW, he's fantastic!!

  • that was awesome

  • I wish my parents had encouraged me to play an instrument at an early age.
