I also can't understand why the car beeing less expensive than an m3 could possibly be something bad.

If even the 1 series is bigger than the E30 M3 side by side, I can't imagine the diference between the old M3 and the new M3. I miss those days when cars where small, light and nimble. M3 Sport Evo is probably one of the all time best, while the 1M Coupé will probably be nothing. Gosh I miss the late 80s and early 90s in automotive industry...
