  • I love this group. Reunion coming, I hope

  • I loved these girls

  • Underrated talent right here, just love their harmonization but I must say that cut: Treat U Right is my all time fave, they just kill it!!!

  • KAPER RECORDS WAS IN BUCKHEAD, THIS WAS THE OLD ATL. I MISS THE 90S

  • OMG I haven't heard this song in nearly 17 years lol! So glad to hear it again

  • This song was blazin'!!!!! The production is sick!!!!!!!!

  • @dwj91 Written and produced by Derek "D.O.A." Allen- the same guy that's responsible for Tyrese's song "Lately".

  • @dwj91 Derek DOA Allen :Producer and Crazy bass player from Sacramento

  • oh my god this used to be my song loved Blackgirl so much my mom went and bought me the cd Tye -v was my favorite!

  • i used to loveeeee this song!!! i especially love the bridge "boy u driving me outta my mind and u know dat u makin me crazy 4u, theres no doubt about how im feelin bout the way dat u makin me feel is tru"!!! dam i still remember the lyrics after 18yrs LOL not bad aye ;-)

  • so many girl groups didnt make it because they all had the same styles and thei videos looked the same

  • @SexyMina07 True. I think the only 90s girl group that really had groundbreaking videos, for the time, was En Vogue. Even though SWV and TLC were the other two huge groups at the time, En Vogue had the better platform for image. Because they didn't look like they belonged in the 90s. En Vogue looked and sounded like they came out of the 60s. I think if other girl groups found a look and sound, like JADE and Brownstone did, then they would have at least acheived some kind of success.

  • All I Listen To Is Old Shcool.

  • 90'zzzzzzzzz all day

  • Let's cherish the 80s & 90s R&B artists, cuz that's the last of good music that we'll hear again. Boy I miss these eras. Hey I"m a child from the 80s.

  • @CaramelCutie79 Amen dats the best music era. This music today is just junk.

  • The rap section is missing!!!

  • @boyrogers1 when we wrote the song it was more about the music and the lyrics and Rap was not so big back then like it is now. But we still putting out good music.

  • Oh my gosh! haven't heard this yrs. I wish I could go back to the 90's some of the best music.

  • ummm...they gettin' felt up by that guy!

were they suppose to be a group like SWV? or what was the name of the group that did "givin' him somethin' he can feel"?

but it's a good song from back in the day.

  • They were b4 swv but I wrote this song with my brotha Derek DOA Allen who by the way played everything and produce it. we did song @ his house one late night. We have fun in those days.

  • @MDaily916 Didn't he do some cuts for Kut Klose? I think even A Few Good Men too! Good stuff!

  • @islandbee Yep bra he did a few good man for sure not sure about the the other person

  • Man I cant believe I forgot about this. I love this song...wow CLASSIC!!!!

  • classic ,beat dope....................

  • I always LOVED the name of this group!

    Blackgirl! Yes.

  • I am in love with TYE-V still after all the years.

  • Smooth and hot...one of the singers is turnin' me on damn' bad! playin' it over and over...and still don't get enough of it

  • ipc is sooo right, im 28 and i cant even dance on these tunes. partys suck today. wheres ma cool flavor from da 90s. ya head 2 be authentic and now itz all about pretendin and showin off ya titts and bootys. i mean itz nuttin wrong wid sexyness!!! but where dem dancemoves at??!!! girls just bounce up n down to make deir tits shake. HELLOOO!! where is da freshnezzz??!?!?! so creepy ... bah.

betta be a dumb bitch now and ya get respected...it didnt used to be like dat. err1 retarded now.

  • i hate 106 n park, i ms the 80's n 90's i am a 36yr old black woman, i ms the good ole showa video soul video vibration, carribien rythms, midnight love, rap city back then, i mean i am upset, but guys my 14yrold daughter listen to and love the oldies i taught her well, at 6 in a half the 1st person she ever sung and still sanggggggggggggggg with the high notes is shirley murdock

  • @SuperDaddyb i fully agree with you!! nowadays is a bunch of useless CRAP!!!

  • @SuperDaddyb

Keep up the good work mom, 80s and 90`s best era. You can see how sexy and classy ladies were back then. These days the airwaves is polluted by Beyonce and her croonies.

  • @svikiro lolol!!!! exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SuperDaddyb Man these use to be my girls...these heifas here could BLOW! and their album was good man. THey had their moment with 90's girl but they had SO MANY other good songs. THey didnt blow up like they should have. Superdaddy...I agree...I hate 106 and park...thats why most of these radio stations are seperated by having a R&B station and Hip Hip station. The hip hop now is just playing into negative coonish stereotypes of black folks. R&B and Hip hop should be hand and hand.

  • @SuperDaddyb I conquer and I'm ten years younger (26) I miss the 90's

  • @SuperDaddyb SAY IT, SAY IT! - I really feel that, I'M a 35 year old black man who feels the late seventies, eighties, and nineties music!!!! (jade, swv, en vogue, brownstone, blackstreet, new edition, bbd, shai, and the list goes on!!!)

  • @SuperDaddyb I remeber when I used to see the couple start dancing on the clock at midnight, I shut the whole house down and made sure I had the phone ringer on silent b/c I had to sneak the phone and I would watch Midnight love with my boyfriend... Ha

  • The choreography, look and vibe of this video is reminiscent of En Vogue's My Lovin', IMO.

  • You guy aren't lying. I don't know where BET went, it's like they changed for the younger crowd and forgot about us 22 and over. I get tired of watching those half naked women in the rap videos. I want to see something like these 90's videos.

  • goood song amazing!

  • These sistas had AWESOME voices, were Hershey chocolated down & had the sassy, retro hairstyles to boot. Blackgirl was THAT group that really should have blown up.

I wonder where they are & what they are doing now....i think one of these ladies is still doing it as far as songwriting (her name escapes me @ the moment....i have to check for their names on the inside sleeve of their album...i have their very 1994 debut on cassette).

  • TYE-V

  • totally agree

  • One of the most underrated girl groups of the 90's. I wrote this song with a good friend of mine Derek DOA Allen a krazy dope producer. This is not new jack but straight funk for those who might be confuse. Thanks for the great response on this track we had a lot of fun writing it brings back so many memories

    Mike Dezee

  • Now this is when BET was truly Black Entertainment Television! It was all about Video Soul, Video Vibrations, Midnight Soul, and Rap City.....106 and Park, what a joke!

  • 106 & Park is truly a JOKE! Bring back OLD BET!!

  • damn i aint heard this in so long..

  • OMG! Thisi my ISHT!

  • New Jack Swing at its best!

  • I Love this Song these Women need to Comeback They are Very Beautiful, and Talented African-American Women!! Remix this or Something with G-Wiz's Teddy Bear, Re-Title it, and see what you get!! XOXO Kudos to that one!!

  • I used to like these girls

  • use to love the sound of that rev base. still sound tight

  • That was my jam back in the day, shoo it still sound good.

  • Much slept on jam! Thanks for posting!! MEMORIES!!

  • This beautiful and outstanding trio of singers were out of Atlanta, and they should've blew up, none the less this was a slammin' track with a ridiculously funky bassline, tight track from the 90's (1994), no doubt!!

  • i think the problem was there were so many groups similar to them in that era...Jade, Xcape, Brownstone, EnVouge..etc...I agree with you, cause i used to love these sisters..any idea what they are up to these days?

  • No, but I wish they would make a comeback, finish what they started, with the crap that's called R&B out today, they'd be the best female R&B groug going, because let's face it, there are none to speak of.

  • That's some real talk I feel you on that. RnB went out with the 90's, i mean there's a few great singers but whatever happened to the groups! It's sad but true.

  • Yeah, true. But En Vogue started out New Jill and then went old school, soul R&B.
