A boxer can't use even the fanciest footwork ever if he's been taken down. The bad thing about wrestling for selfdefense, and MMA, if you're not careful you can burn too much energy. It requires quite a bit of athleticism. But as everybody knows, a skilled wrestler is a formidable opponent.

Randy knowsMMA but I dont know about fighting, Alot of you guys are kids watching spike TV learning moves that everyone else knows now, There are lots of things you cant do in MMA that could be done in a real fight, Some of you idiots would probally in a street fight jump into a guard and hit your head on concrete, Randy is a great wrestler and a subpar dirtyboxer/boxer, Dont cream your jeans too much theres better advise out there.

@islandboi1100 love fighting boxers outside the ring especially when the footing isn't so good (snow/ice, sand, gravel) their whole game plan and power is built on being able to move their feet where they want to...look like total amateurs when their feet are sliding all over the place...he he he

still when they get their feet they are deadly strikers man, but without them you may as well be fighting my nephew (12 yrs old)

@LordAlucard454 true, true, my bruised ego is a living testament to that, waking up with everyone laughing at me, wondering why I'm lying on the ground. Thank God the guy was happy enough to humiliate me by laughing too instead of curbing me while I was out. Learned new respect for strikers that day. I didn't even know what happened, never saw the punch coming.
