Hi, I have a video on my utube account, Named Please spay and neuter your pets. Please could you watch it? Its about my dear Puppy Jd who will soon lose her life due to cancer which she has had since she was born and this could have all been prevented. Very important message at the end of video. Thank you Luv me and JD xx
It´s still an important message. It seems like to many peple only care about their own cat and want it to have kittens. They don´t really care if millions of cats and kittens dies because there are not enough homes. They don´t care about to think what will happen to the kittens their cat get or to the cats relatives in the future.

Hi, cute video..I noticed the audio got disable..Well, if you want to avoid that. You should try looking up artists here on youtube.. There are so many talented artists. Take a look at my videos. You not only get your cause out, but you help them in the process, a win win..But ask them first, they usually don't mind.

I have been to shelters and have seen neglected and abused animals so willing to give love and trust a second chance. If you've never seen a 260 pound biker dude weep like a child, you sure would have seen it then!
Am a vet ... oh I know about the Rainbow bridge....I have worked at shelters....sometimes as a job...sometimes for free....this video is no exaggeration....listen to the message....

It breaks my heart that so many wonderful pets have to be put down because there are just too many of them.. my neighbor's cat has a litter of kittens every time i'm over there, and has been having them for the last 7 years.. I don't know why they can't just spay her, too cheap I guess.
Not to ge toff subject, but it's also shame that we humans don't "spay and neuter" every jackass that spits out children like wild rabbits and uses a them for a paycheck or has no business raising children in general. Like people who sexually abuse kids and so forth too :/

Y'know, not everyone looking for a purebred dog is looking for a pet. =/ So, realistically speaking, not everyone looking for a purebred dog (and sometimes cat) can't go to a shelter.
I am very pro spay and neuter, though. But, only for pet animals. For show, working, etc. I understand not spaying and neutering.

I got all my cats fixed. They didn't enjoy it, obviously, but they are okay. Winkie was mad at me for ages. She was just getting interested in the cat next dog. gimme that baby kitten! What is that song. I like it.

It said never buy from a breeder. All breeds would die out.
It's people just dumping their kittens, and those just wanting one litter for the wonder of life or some such. Not breeders.
Many people do not want ANYTHING to do with rescue BECAUSE of that attitude, so less cats get adopted. A family who got a cat from us said their shelter basically bashed them for having pures when they wanted a cat. Needless to say they didn't want anything to do with that shelter anymore.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I understand why you think all breeds would die out, but that would never happen. There are so many pures out there now... did you see it also said 30% of all shelter cats are purebreds? And there will ALWAYS be someone breeding. Unfortunately the puppymills, BYBs, & those breeding to make money have given all breeders a bad name. If you worked at an animal shelter & saw the senseless of it all, yes, you would despise the people responsible, too.

"...to those that didn't and went across the rainbow bridge." This just crushes my heart. My cat "Tigger" was spayed 2 months ago and she's just as active and happy as she always was. Humans are responsible for domestic cats and dogs since their ancient hunting and survival instincts have long been bred away. They depend on us and it is up to us to control their population.

Beautiful job! Beautiful photos, the pertinent information. I can relate to all of it because I am a foster parent, a volunteer, a rescuer. It is a huge problem and the more information we get out there like this, the sooner it will be under control. Thanks for this!!!

Blaming of breeders is really nonsense. It's not responsible breeders causing overpopulation. Real breeding has NOTHING to do with mass production.
What do those people want? All the breeds go extinct ? This is part of the reason the message comes across as unrealistic and as bossy, telling people what type of cat they should get and making those who have pure cats out to be something evil.
In all my time rescueing there were only 3 probable pures. You cannot tell with strays, really.

They want people who are simply looking for a companion animal, who're not seriously attempting to preserve a breed, to try to adopt from among the millions of unwanted cats in danger of being euthanized in shelters, instead of spurning an animal every bit as deserving of a home because it is not of a "pure" breed. If you've ever worked in a govt. run shelter- it's heartbreaking, what people put animals through. Even animals bought from breeders get mistreated & abandoned. They don't deserve it.

My cat is unspayed, and she knows how to controll herself and keep her legs locked - thie`r not the little whores we think they are. Also they put on weight ect. after having thie`r insides ripped out. It is a risky and totally unnessesary operation
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
they are Animals nature drives them to breed. also a spayed female it healthier because the risk of reproductive cancers is removed. they don't gain wight if you keep them active and control their food. spaying and nutering causing wight gain is a myth. also a male not controlled by hormones makes a more loving pet content to stay home for his cuddles instead of straying off looking for females . it also prevents injury because they will fight each other for the chance to mate.

I don't believe you are this stupid, I think you're saying this just to get a rise out of everyone. I think you're the same pathetic person on Y!A who posts the same kind of ridiculous bullshit on other peoples' questions about spay/neutering. No one in their right mind would think that any animal "thought out" or premeditated mating, it's purely biological instinct. You should seek professional help for whatever mental disorder you suffer from.

Are you stupid? Only humans have sex for pleasure. Animals don't get anything but pregnacy, they don't even consent
Dog 1- Wanna have sex?
Dog 2 - Nah
Dog 1 - To bad.
