Phil is still on high harmony here. Phil Everly is the best harmony singer in the business, and manages to bring perfect harmonization into every song.  Their voices just sound different than they did more than TWENTY-FIVE years earlier! (Even better, according to many critics!) An amazing live performance. Thank you for posting, padrusek!

It sounds to me as if Phil is taking the lead...but with his usual harmony and Don is singing his part softer...I don't know, I kind of like it.

Love this song but not this version of it. Why did Phil decide to sing it so differently? That is something I come to expect from Don when he does the short solos. I don't like it when they stray to much from the original. Here Don sings like the original and Phil does one different like they wanted it to be a new sound but well people like me who are crazy for that harmonic song feel short changed.
