I think if our country is at war, we as Americans need to overcome our emotions and opinions and support our president, and our troops, and the families of the troops. I cry every time I listen to this song. I wish this great musical artist could have lived on to instill his beliefs in more people. Even though he has passed away now (may he rest in peace), his beliefs are still instilled in more young people like me every day through his beautiful music.

I totally agree with you. I believe in God, but i am  ashamed when i see people claiming God´s name to express hate. I think that My Lord prefers a person who struggles for making this world a better place, and not all those ones who call themselves Christians, but hurt people, defend the bad ones, and do nothing to work for the needed ones.
