If there was ever a song that could do tribute to John then I think it would be The Waterboy's, "The whole of the Moon". I pictured a rainbow, YOU held it in YOUR hands. That sums him up.

It so damn true that we never know how blessed we are until we lose someone that we learn to take for granted will be there with us along our walk. ohn Martyn was blessed with a voice that was like a wailing Wolf crying his woes away and a growl that had emotion enough to poart an Ocean. He has left us his legacy of fabulous songs for any occasion.Each time I play any of them I am left full of joy, tears,shivers an all None to compare, Thankyou John, RIP you legend. no one compares to you !!!

saw him 3 or 4 times in the last 4 years...he played this near the end of the last show i went to...aches melancholy. Outstanding.
