  • Where did he get that old guitar? Look at all those knobs. I had to laugh. Good video though.

  • they make it look and sound soo easy '-.-

  • I thought step 1 was "cut a hole in a box".

  • is this serious?? cos its seriously hilarious!!

  • What a load of nonsense, about taking all the strings off at once !! it is a myth that it damages the neck. i have been playing guitar for 30 years, and i have never had a problem. every guitar player i know, does the same. it is total crap. if you need new frets for example, all the strings need to be removed. i wish people would stop saying otherwise. guitars can take a lot of pressure, believe you me. all my guitars are fine.

  • OMFG i just snapped it again! FML thats £7.99 i just lost -.-

  • @ZarkDragon wow your guitar dealer is a fuc*king bullshit ripoff dealer. I get my strings for $0.75 a piece and a pack of 6 for $4.00. so yea

  • @cloudcally Stuff from Europe is expensive.

  • PLEASE HELP

can someone tell me what style his licks and riffs are called i want to learn to play like that it sounds like the who /70ish rock

  • Argh!

  • hey you now its good not to take all strings off once but you need to clean the guitar and the neck at least once a year, so you will have to take all the strings off the guitar, just simply mantance for your guitar and neck, kuz if you dont do this your strings will be with no tone in less time thast the other strings and will leat the guitar sound better :)

  • Dam I'm still new to guitar and I didn't know not to take off all the strings at the same time.

  • @Mous559 dont take them all off if you have a floyd rose or any locking trem cause it will mess up the set up

  • Don't we thread the thin strings through the hole again?? The string should be passed through the hole, bent back around . then through the hole again and pulled tight. If you do a lot of string bending like I do your ax will never hold tune. My new Carvin came with these neat string locks you screw from the back--I'm never out of tune now!

  • string winders are very handy. i hate doin it by hand lol

  • howcast. i love ur vids but this is making it more complicated then it needs to be

  • this is bull shit i tryed it and i broke my guitar and i dont get a new one intill chirstmas but i better one

  • this is only for regular tuners...lol....i have a prs, with locking tuners. you put on strings a different way on locking tuners. you dont have to wrap the string around at all with them. its a lot easier

  • I never use wirecutters.. just bed the string back and forth until it breaks, it's cleaner that way anyway

. last time I used wirecutters,.. the wirecutters scratched the freaking guitar!

  • Then don't cut the string until you release it enough.

  • Lol, u sound like a child!, Wirecutters is more cleaner and takes no time.. rather than bed your string back and forth until it breaks. LOL

  • Wirecutters are* more clean... It's true they are, except they can scratch your guitar.. you should try my method, it works pretty well.

  • they can scratch your guitar if you don't use it properly. Well, anyways nice method .. when you don't have any Wire cutter... =)

    God Bless!

  • It's also a good idea to add pencil graphite to the string nut. It helps the guitar stay in tune.

  • yeah. removing all of the strings at the same time will produce alot of tension in the neck, which could cause damage to the guitar. you're supposed to change one string at a time.

  • no shit sherlock

  • thank you so much ive been wanting a vid like this

  • the dude with the stache looks like a kid wearing a fake one xD

  • i have a fender so this doesn't help me much

  • that warning sucks...... you should always change the 6 of them so that the tone can sound right..

  • He said dont take em all out at once, not don't change them all. Remove an old string, change it then proceed to the next. Not remove them all first then change each one.

  • you will need:

    a roadie

  • lol XD

  • @thwipp

    LOL

  • what a bad tone..

  • He did it on purpse, because someone that can afford a "string winder" and the kind of tuner can afford a nice amp and/or pedal.

  • most information in this instructional video is incorrect

  • Doesn't help if you have a Fender.

  • Ernie Ball 11's The purple pack

    I uses thems

  • i used the green pack :)

  • They had "ELECTRIC," guitar four thousand years ago. ROFL.

  • Something usefull =D

  • going to say one thing only

    NOT THAT FUCKING HARD!

  • 16th COMMENT

  • ernie ball strings are where its at.

  • 2000 years before jesus :O!

  • Great. they don't even show the part I have trouble with

    TYING THE GOD DAMN STRING!

  • @daguy1234: you put the string thru the top of the tuning machine, go wrap it around halfway around the tuning peg and do it again and that should tie it pretty good to the tuning machine.

  • Thanks sniper. :)

  • yeah me too

  • are you dumb? you dont tie the string...

  • Did you honestly think I meant tying the string like a shoe lace?

sspeck42, is there really a cause for name-calling?

  • 7th

  • sixth omg

  • i would do this right now but i dont know where the fuck is my guitar strings package.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • no problems!

  • Cool! Thanks!
