Amusing. You wonder how many kids knew the reference. Check out my original song tribute "Here's To Alfred Hitchcock." Just click on my name below or search CraigASilver.
@eladbari Actually, I have no idea. I think it's just something they say out of random. Just like Freunlaven. That's another word that's completely random, but makes it funny.
no mr director creeps the hell out of me...but i find it very funny when the Warener's are against the door, turn to the audiance and say "be afraid, be very afraid" lol
Miss Flameel is indeed the name of the Warners' ever-pushy teacher, but in this case, the word "Flameil" means one of the goofy phrase words Mr. Director (either as a Jerris Lewis charicature, a Jerry Lewis-esque Marlon Brando, or a Jerry Lewis-esque clown) utters & these include words like "Freunlayven"!
Mr. Director: Hello nice people in the TV (or this case, computer)!!
In this case, "Flameil" is an homage to the character on the show named Mr. Director, who will yell random things like "Flameil!", "Freunlavin!" and "Hoyl!"
Hitchcock had a show called Hitchcock Presents after Psycho premiered. He would start the show by walking into his Outline turning to the camera and say "Good EEEEvening" in his ultra creepy voice. Basically the Warners are spoofing it, but flameil is a mystery to me. (btw i'm fifteen and i knew that)
Uuuuuuu...I liked Psycho...and Birds too...they're cool... Alfred was surely the best movie director ever. His horror stuff is purely iveeeeeeeeellllll *clears throat*

Nothing. I googled it. But Flamiel is the name of the teacher in chalkboard bungle.
Dot2784 2 years ago 3
Actually, the name of the teacher in "Chalkboard Bungle" sounds the same but is spelled "Flameel"
Flamiel is simply one of the made-up nonsense words Mr. Director uses.

It's a homage, or a reference.

You... don't know who Alfred Hitchcock was?
Good lord, kids these days! Lol! .. Ever heard of the movie "The Birds"? He's the guy that made it. Also the creator of the original "Psycho" film.

Have you ever seen The Birds, the woman who lived twice, psycho? (However, sorry for my ignorance but... I don't get the reference)
