I don't understand what you're doing. Whatever container your digester is made out of should be closed shut (anaerobic) with a tap at the top for methane to release. Route the tap with a small hose into your co2 filter (water bottle) and then rout out the methane from the top of that (use a one way valve so the methane exhaust goes into the water and not back into the digester).
You sure the hose wasn't blocked? Even if it failed to produce gas the water level in the bottle was above that in the bucket so some of the headspace gas should have gone in. Even if it did it is unlikely to be flammable until a digester full (or so) of gas has been vented.
I don't understand. Were you trying to produce biogas from the bottle or from the bucket? Or was there another component that wasn't in the film? Generally there is some sort of tank for decomposition. I'm not poking fun, just trying to understand. I am going to try to build one.
OH! How unobservant of me! I didn't even see the blue tank and I watched it twice! I just saw the blue tank as a table or something. Thanks for the explanation. I hope you have better results in the future, you sounded pretty disappointed.

Did you get around to fixing the glitch?

2 things ... how long has your biogas digestor been sitting... and are you sure there are no leaks in it...

The blue tank is the decomposition chamber. I was trying to make gas on a batch basis, not a continuous basis. Does that help?

after watching this again I understand what you were trying to do.

I'm kind of confused. Are you trying to produce biogas, or just make a digester to use with biogas fuel?
