Does somebody know if this performance was brought out on CD or DVD. It is the most beautifull performance of Dido I ever heared. Got tears in my eyes while listening and looking.
I enjoy this and your other clip of Xenia singing "Ah Belinda". Her voice is so warm and beautiful. I've looked for a copy of this showing on every dvd trading board, just so I can listen to more of her. Thank You so much.
This is quite the best rendition of Dido's Lament, that I have been fortunate enough to have seen and heard. The simple but effective staging is also worthy of praise.
Absolutely beautiful. But Janet Baker's has brought tears to my eyes on more than one occassion. Here in Jamaica where opera is listened to only on Sunday's its strange that I love Dido's Lament. I absolutely love to hear Dame Baker's.
I love this! Heartbreakingly beautiful!

I hope I have as much energy in my dying arms as she does, that way I can make artistic movements with them and then stop as if on purpose.
Great singing, though.
