Your ear looks fine to me, but I can only see the one. ;) Had to look it up. Vulcan was the god of beneficial fire, so you could be that. This is a real honest and beautiful song. Drugs to feel. Drugs to not feel. It's so hard to take life as it comes. I guess we all want to ease the pain and up the joy all we can, any way we can. Glad to hear you singing.

I was at a serious crossroad one night on whether to live or die and I picked up my old guitar and haven't missed a night since. My thoughts of suicide ended back on a summer evening back in 2002. Music is a good healer and with time you may even find you won't need the other substances as well - been down them roads. Thanks for sharing with us! Mark

Anyway... I have given up all substances apart from the alcohol and nicotine... When I met my counsellor at the rehabilitation centre and told him my problem with whisky he asked... "do you inject it"? Jeez!!! ... some people must have much bigger problems than me.... ;-)
There ain't no prosthesis for a ripped out heart....you can hit a broken heart with whatever drug or whiskey and maybe even keep it down for a while...but if you don't find a way to mend it....it'll haunt you and keep you on the run forever...
Good to see you writing and singing again....talent doesn't go anywhere Nick....just fire away and let 'em fly
About the ears....dunno, you might have a problem there... :-)
If you could write a song like that...I know it ain't impossible for you to let stuff to the surface.....only there can you kill the bad and embrace the good...
