  • Oh hello! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker lost lots of weight with it.

  • is it okay to do these 5 times a week? If it's only 10 sprints, I don't see a problem, but would like your opinion. Thankyou.

  • @khalsasikh I alternate three days a week of strength training with three days of high intensity interval cardio and one day of rest. Five days a week of intervals seems a bit much to me, especially if you're doing it instead of strength training. You need both for best results in my opinion, and according to all studies I've heard of.

  • @ramusic10 Thankyou. I will say also that I'm not very fast right now, so I'm not putting my body through the same stress as a well conditioned or elite sprinter would be. Yes, I also do strength training as well. I've toned it down to 3 or 4 days of sprinting. As I get faster, I imagine I will have to cut it down to maybe 2 or 3 days of sprinting. Do you still see a training effect/benefit even if only done 2 or 3 times a week?

  • @khalsasikh Yes, two or three days of strength work alternating with two or three days of high intensity interval cardio will give you great results. Too many people overtrain and don't recover properly. The recovery phase is when your muscles actually grow.

  • i do the same exact thing but the hill i go on is much steeper so i naturally go slower, it it still good?

  • @TEpro125 Yes, definitely. The raw speed is not as important as the intensity of the work.

  • @xTheFormlessOnedx I do high intensity intervals three times a week.

  • great stuff your an inspiration man I'm sold. Been researching this on Youtube.

  • I got a gym membership because it's cold where I live right now. How would you recommend doing high intensity training on a treadmill?

  • @yonghk1 It's tough on a treadmill because they're designed for jogging, not sprinting. Set the angle at the highest tilt and after warming up, max out the speed for about 20 seconds, then back off as needed and repeat up to ten times. Don't try to go at maximum for longer than 20 seconds, it's not possible. The longest sprint race is the 200 meters, everything else requires pacing. Don't pace, go full out, then pull back, and alternate.

  • Awesome!

  • doctors say that people past their 50s shouldnt sprint cuz the heart rate goes too high and they can have a heart attack.then how come u can ?if u r gasping for air there is no doubt that u went over that so called limit doctors dont want u to break.what do u think about this ? please answer back

  • @yandykun First, always be realistic about your current level of fitness and build gradually and safely from there.

Who's in better shape, me or your doctor? Your heart will be healthier if you put it through a broader range of beats per minute than if you just elevate it a bit and hold it steady there. Look at the body of a powerful sprinter compared to a marathoner. I'm 62 now and still do hill sprints and various other high intensity interval workouts 3 times a week.

  • @ramusic10 thanks for the response thats all i needed to know thanks again

  • @yandykun Hill sprints don't really hit the heart, more the lungs and legs!

  • @eigononinja Hill sprints work your heart big time by forcing it to deal with a much wider range of beats per minute. You don't get that range, or the intensity/recovery cycle from steady state cardio.

  • Dr. Mercola recommended Phil Campbell. It seems reasonable so I will try it slowly. I hope it works.

  • @iamgabrielf High intensity intervals definitely wotk. You're wise to begin slowly, and gradually increase the intensity as you improve. Always be realistic about your current fitness level, and look to improve slowly but surely.

  • Great video man. I agree that hill sprints are by far the best cardio exercise. Plus they provide a KILLER workout for the whole lower body. I do them 3x a week myself. You are in better shape than me though because you get it done in 15 minutes. Right now it takes me 25 minutes to get through ten 75 yard hill sprints. I need a bit more recovery time in between sprints. My goal is to eventually be where you are at.

  • @rdeffleymoviesnew You're doing great, stay with it.

  • @rdeffleymoviesnew

I hear ya. I have a 125 yard steep hill near my place. I manage 5 sprints to the top, 10 pushups each sprint, a walk down and a 1-2 min rest between sprints. I just cant seem to get it under that time lol! 35-40 sec run up (its takes that long) maybe a 2 min walk back (cause I am hald dead by the 3rd run usually lol), and a 1 min rest

  • @shkotay Try making each sprint shorter, 20 seconds max. Not even Olympic sprinters can go longer than about 20 seconds full out. The 200 meter race is a full out sprint, the 400 and everything longer involves pacing. The idea with high intensity intervals is to go full out each interval.

  • @ramusic10 I appreciate the feedback. Its a good steep hill and 35 seconds is a hard piece of work trying to go full out. I might have some improvements this way cause of less stress per interval.

  • EXCELLENT

  • good bye 5 mile runs! hello hill sprints! 60?! your a LEDGEND!

  • This guy is in amazing shape

  • Thanks, much appreciated. It's all about getting the right information and applying it.

  • Hello, i´m 13 years old, and every day, exept the weekend, i wake up at 8:00 every day, to go to school, and i exit school at 4:25 on the afternnon, i Have Karate at 6:30 and i finish it at 20:00, i have a small room, and i dont have the right place to run or make something like that, i have to study, and i have few free time, i still want to make push ups, and run, and do things like that.If i dont have time or space, where can i do exercise?

  • @FJDynamicDuo There's a great cardio workout you can do indoors with very little space. I can't enter the link in a reply here, but look up "girl with no name," then search her site for robert martin and you'll find it.

You don't need much room to do the exercises I do. My system was created for working out in hotel rooms. Check the other videos on my youtube channel.
