About the independence of Bessarabia, give me a break, they were vassals to the ottoman empire, just as wallachia was. The only time Moldavia was independent and strong was during the reign of Stefan cel Mare, from 1457 to 1498, after that, Moldavia was basically a vassal to the ottoman empire.
About the unification in 1918, that was a natural thing, Wallachians, Transylvanians and Moldavians are all ROMANIANS, same language, same formation, from dacians and romans.

until 1800 it existed Moldovan Principality...which later signed the unification with walachia...you should watch part_1 better..or learn history...
1800-1917 Basarabia was under russian ocupation...it was'nt indipendent while the Moldovan Principality in 1859 unified itself with walachia...
You should go in Rusia, and leave Moldova.
