As much of a boss Tesla was, he didn't exactly have wireless electricity done in any way that we could use today. I mean 200,000V sending 130ft beams of electricity to the ground isn't exactly safe! Perhaps if JP Morgan didn't cut his funding over 100 years ago though, he'd have cracked it.
My question with this though is more why it isn't all over the place yet, would be nice to have some idea of the costs.
It appears that devices must be so close to the power-transfer that the wireless feature hardly matters. Could this technology turn out to be an attractive gimmick to compel us to buy new, wireless devices to replace perfectly good wired ones? On the positive side, we may expect the old-fashioned wired electronics to get much cheaper.
@grubelsucht The bunny-hop effect he mentions I think solves the problem. But it would require replacing pretty much everything wired in your house. :(
Hey cynics - some of us are not too cool to be excited about this :) Yes, Tesla was doing something similar over 100 years ago. Genius is usually not validated over night - that sucks, but it's reality.
@DeadGhost25: Yeah, just like radio waves are harmful, right?
Theres a shitton of charged particles that races everywhere all the time, the problem is that the frequencies are scattered, the only difference here, is that the frequencies are controlled with this.
i did even better than this. i sent industrial energy 20 ft wirelessly using the real tesla system! i put up a ton of info on it so that everyone can learn! please check it out everyone, way more farther and way more energy delivery than this. please i did this for everyone so we can learn!

Also if tesla would have completed his wireless electricity project ...it would have been free for everyone

What an awesome new concept. Says the guy that has no clue. The other posters are right . TESLA invented wireless tech. A century ago.

This is pretty cool, I can imagine in the future a power station near the city daisy chaining power to all the houses.

Free Energy is real and its here but the coverup is strong, if u are interested in a REAL free energy machine then
just go to LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and download the blueprints ,it is probably the ONLY working magnet
motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

This is over 100 years old. And from the looks of it, it looks as though its not even close to the efficientcy of Telsa's.

@bboborino Humans are invisible to magnetic fields. No electrical fields are involved. Safety issues are null.

It's sad that it took over a century for us to start utilizing Tesla's work...
