Football was Big 10 and yes, the northern media had an agenda and Notre Dame was part of that but MLK has always said that Chicago was the worst as far a facing white hostility. Another part about it, he was friends with Jake Gaither, coach of Florida A&M. He didn't go after players from the Florida Everglades due to the agreement with Jake. But when Jake left and Howard Schnellenberger became coach at Miami....
