David Cameron's Defense policy, a seat for himself, his family and other Conservative and Lib Dem big wigs and their families on a requisitioned British Airways Boeing 777 departing London Heathrow destination Bermuda, before the first Iranian ten kiloton yield range nuke detonates over London. Put the Nimrod MRA4 in to service, keep the Harrier GR9 in service and kick Cameron out of 10 Downing Street.
Nice video, I used to stand on the cliff tops near my house when I was a kid and watch these fly by almost at the same level. Shame I never had a camera in those days.
Well this machine is not airworthy at the moment but there is now a group at Coventry called "Shackelton to the sky" which are trying to get this aircraft fling again so keep an eye open you never know we may yet see a shackelton flying again one day :-) Cheers Lee.
Amazing the think the defence of the UK depended on such a wonderful aircraft, a British aircraft and today we cannot even make such a wonderful piece of engineering, it is a sad indictment on the successive governments we have had to weaken us so badly.
It's always really impressive to hear the SOUND of theses WWII bombers :D

@gtrtech13 We probably could if we wanted to to be fair. I guess there isn't the financial incentive though.
