  • I really appreciate all my friends and all the wonderful comments I have gotten on this song. I really love to play music and sing, and it is a big part of my life. It really helped a lot having such a smooth and timely rythm which my oldest son Tommy 2nd provided with the Martin D28. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart

  • Fellows...this performance brought back many wonderful memories of my dad and I playing this song. The dobro was his buddy, although he was never that good. I remember as a young boy going with him to a local pawn shop and buying his first dobro that was hanging in the window. Daddy passed away in 1990 and any music on the dobro brings a smile to my face.

    Thanks for posting.

I found your video because I am trying to learn to play an autoharp (without a teacher) and wanted to learn to play this song. I play your video over and over and practice with it. Thanks for being my "teacher," too.

  • What a fond memory this brings back to me. I remember hearing this on the radio. Then as a young girl I was able to listen to it on 45's while I was babysitting I could listen to all these beautiful songs that we call vintage today.

Thank you so much for keeping them alive.
