But, if you get a high quality gun like my high end CYMA or a high end Echo 1, then you can get 450 FPS and higher and shooting (accurately) over 200ft, with the use of heavy BBs and your hop-up system.

You seem to make a big deal about FPS when it is stupid to have it shoot over 400. You cannot use it at any fields (excluding bolt actions). Get a good gun from Tokyo Marui, Systema, KWA, G&P, or G&G.

CYMA and Echo-1 are not low end companies, they make incredibly well constructed and preforming guns, and they also make low end, but almost every company does. And you can use a 400+ FPS gun at a field unless the field has restrictions, fewer and fewer fields are restricting the FPS as more advanced and powerful guns come out. And yes Tokyo Marui, KWA etc make awesome guns, but the companies you listed are not the only good companies.

The amount of places that do is minute, so unless you are doing target practice out in the woods, 400+ FPS is a waste. CYMA is a horrible brand with horrible quality control. The accuracy is atrocious and ROF, slow. What worries me more is the relability of a CYMA. Echo 1 OEMs VFC so they have some good guns.

@NewDivineWind Several airsoft arenas (outside) allow 400+FPS guns, with an indoor, nobody should have a CQB gun over that limit anyway. More and more facilities are no longer having limits below 500FPS, its becoming much less common, not to mention paintball arenas. CYMA is a good brand, you get what you pay for... if you buy a $30 gun from them, expect bad, but my upgraded brand is accurate over 150ft and has 1200 RPM. Echo-1, OEMs, VFC, Ares, KWA, CYMA, they all make great guns.
