I hate the condecending tone you have have about drummers that play this way but I think you are right. I am a metal drummer and have a really hard time playing blast beats with both hands. This means that I need to practice. However,I don't think that there is anything wrong with any of the beats that you played. It depends of the context. In my opinion, there is no "wrong" way to play drums (unless you don't keep time) Keep up the good drumming.

This video really is kind of funny. I guess that makes John Longstreth, Derek Roddy, and George Kollias all pussies than because they all do various sticking patterns with blast beats, and so do I. The other thing is that the mid paced 1-2 beat can be sick as hell if you make your double bass the focus point. Sometimes I also combine punk beats with the 1-2 beat and it sounds sick also. I think it all depends, and different blast beat patterns can really add style to your drumming.
