@mrryhenboss Thanks again for your comments. The 'lost tribes' became lost after the destruction of the first temple which happened in 423 BCE. So we are talking about a time period closer to 2500-3000 years ago, not 10,000. The silk road was formally established around this same time. But these trade routes, both overland and sea, were all based on pre-existing local routes. Ancient Israelites in the time of King Solomon, 832 BCE, were known for their role in the expansion of global trade.

@mdnaimable because the japanese were japanese and were the best, most wonderful race in the world and germany was separated from them by the molten core of an entire planet.
they would most certainly have ended up in a war with each other if they'd beaten the allies though. the germans probably would have won too :/
Peace manifests as a Force that acts on the Human Body over Time in keeping with its Design, resulting in a Flourishing Permutation, whose major distinction is not that it is unrecognizable and therefore justly unwanted, but that it _is_ similar to other Permutations and therefore Appreciable. It can easily be crushed, by unthinking oversimplification, but if fully Appreciated, it becomes Independent on its own (in its own way). Noone owns it, but it can be shared. Israel & Japan have that Peace
How does Jewish culture only appear in Japan, and not in the surrounding areas of China and India? I believe the 13th tribe of Israel made the journey to the eastern ends of the old world. Throughout this journey they were hunted by the Mongolian confederation conscripted by one of the known 12 tribes of Israel. While they were unsuccessful at thwarting them during their journey, they did manage to destroy any trace of thier journey. This is why we have no concrete evidence form the Bible?
@CharredStereolith Thanks for your comment! Actually there were very successful Jewish communities across Asia. @dekkkkaimara Although it may be true that in modern times it was Japanese Christians who have re-discovered this connection, these observations have been made in history starting in the 1800's. Thanks for your comments.
There definitely seems to be a connection between jewish culture and japanese shinto culture.. I don't think that the japanese are descended from jewish people though...
@WorldTurtleMedia Well i'm not exactly sure about that i'm afraid... but if it helps i can tell you that some Japanese believed that Yamato clan leaders were descended from Jews.. so, however far back the yamato had lived, i'm guessing that the jews arrived way before... sorry i can't be of much help
Japanese ancestry and the ancient Israelites, but I think, D2 according to phylogenetic analysis of DNA markers And most are about 40%. Marker D2 is seldom seen in other Asian countries. Japan seems to be reached over the Southeast from around the Middle East once Upon this is probably the Jomon people.
(D2 marker is similar to the type of people around the Middle East today.) I also had people who went to Japan via China or. Some of the DNA of these strains D2 (probably less than 5 percent of the total Japanese) is not what people say the descendants of ancient Israelites.
@WorldTurtleMedia The last sentence is ..... I mean some people ( probably less than 5 percent of the total Japanese) are descendants of ancient Israelities.
I can say DNA tests aren't really fully believable. I mean I can't trust the people who make the categorization due to political reasons.Today's jewish are not Hebrew origin ethnically nor discriminated. They just use the story and the religion. For example, the history of Sumer is still a mistery and isn't talked about well. And many have known that Jesus can't be looking like current Jews. He is Hebrew. The point is, today's Jews are fake making ancient Hebrews worse on purpose. I guess.
The truth is....Japanese are NOT Jewish nor believing in Judaism. They basically don't have a racial supremacistic thought or chosen thought. But, some Japanese might have a blood of ancient Israeri people. There's no wonder people came to Japan Island from middle east in over 30,000 years of history. And there were many tribes lived in Israeli in ancient times. In the history book bible said, there were a descendant of Asian in Israeli. I guess some exiled to Asia region.
@WorldTurtleMedia I'm guessing Japanese have the blood of Gad tribe or Samaritan. Samaritan sounds familiar to Samurai. The complicated thing is Samaritans aren't said very well from Hebrew's perspective as well, because of their multiple belief and mixed blood with other tribe. The fake Jewish are the pure trouble making Hebrew people disgraceful. I think they do that on purpose to vanish Asian roots of Israel from history. Many of current Jews are nothing to do with Israeli or hebrew.
Wow, I've already make many comments giving my arguments as an Historian specialized on East Asian cultures, Russian history and Germanic culture. Feel free to give me your thoughts or arguments you may have regarding this nowadays "fringe" theory. As for bibliography I can provide you with many books of this topic and any other you may like from the specialties I studied. I am proudly German, Mexican-born. Cheers! and for Jewish readers, Shalom.
@garlandstrife Wow! Thanks for all your insight! Most of it I can't argue with...but I would correct you on a few things. First of all the Yayoi period dates back to much earlier than the 8th century, more like 250 BCE. And it is not at all definite this group came from mainland China or Korea. Some research I have read suggests this group migrated along coastal trade routes from the south Pacific.
@WorldTurtleMedia You are right on the Central Asian markers, but they are also present on Han Chinese and Korean peoples and many Turkic and Moglic populations. The presence on modern Jews of this markers may come from the Khazar Empire in Central Asia. Its main religion was Judaism as well as Shamanism, Islam and Germanic Paganism from the Gothic population they had. Many Ashkenazi Jews may be Khazar descendants so in a way they are Turkic as the Khazars were Turkic.
@WorldTurtleMedia The South Pacific hypothesis is also considered for the language. As many linguistics have pointed out Japanese and Melanesian languages have similar grammar and sound very similar too. There are many mysteries regarding the true origins of the Japanese race, but I believe many theories are just made up by Japanese people that want to feel apart from their neighbors. In the past they believed they were the sons of the Sun, now they want to be more of a "western/chosen people".
@WorldTurtleMedia And forgot to mention. Your video editing skills are awesome, pretty good indeed! Keep on making some great vids in the future! Good Luck!
@garlandstrife In regards to DNA...DNA evidence has not yet debunked this theory. According to my research modern Jews have a high amount of alleles in common with people from Central Asia, as do people from Japan. If you consider the possible time periods for cross-cultural exchange we might find evidence of a DNA connection...not proven yet, but also not dis-proven.
Even as far as Peru there are some similar Inca words that some people speculate are related to ancient Hebrew. Just as I mentioned, coincidences doesn't make something "true" or "valid". I could mention thousands of words that are found in many languages of the world not even remotely connected and that doesn't make them even related.
As for the rituals, this may be based on VERY ANCIENT human pagan rituals kept intact and as I mentioned with the symbols, many human populations have similar rituals, words, symbols and even racial features with another culture they're not related at all. Some african cultures practice similar rituals to jewish rituals and festivals. There's even one church in Ethiopia and population that claim descending from Abraham and that they have the ark of the covenant. Of course none is proven.
@garlandstrife I would agree there must be ancient common rituals among humans based on our relationships to nature and each other, but the rituals in Japan that I refer to relate very specifically to similar principles spelled out in the Deuteronomic reforms from ancient Israel. Thanks again for watching and for all your thoughtful and knowledgeable commentary!
This was a hotly debated theory among historians in the past but once we discovered DNA and haplogroups this was debunked quite a while. Japanese are genetically VERY SIMILAR to their neighbors China and Korea, in fact studies showed modern Japanese are recent (8th century) Korean/Chinese immigrants (Yayoi) that mixed with the aboriginal Jomon related to the northern Ainu tribes. Only some history conspirators and "Dan Brown"-style writers believe this stuff in Japan nowadays.
People like to make a big fuss of just some coincidences. Many symbols, including the 6 point star of David are found all over the world, same with the swastika and crosses. Just because there are some similar or identical symbols and other stuff doesn't mean Japan was founded by Jews, then the same could be said the other way round, maybe Jews are Japanese. What? You look shocked! Buddhist temples in Japan have many swastikas, that doesn't make them Nazi or Aryan, right? Bunch of fallacies.
@astuc8 This is a good question...there is some indication that circumsision was practiced in Japan in the past, but I do not have this confirmed yet. Thanks for your comment!
@astuc8 Jews is a nationality, I am non religious Jew, no not circumcised, and you calling my nationality sexual sadists, while many Jews are non practicing mind you, is incredibly disrespectful at the very least. And Anti-Semitic at worse
@samuils Thanks for your comments! Modern Jews are more of a cultural group, not a nationality. My hope is to keep the conversation on topic with the video. Try not to worry about people like that think or say. If you believe the comment is inappropriate for this video I will consider removing it.
@WorldTurtleMedia I understand what you are trying to achieve, or do. Respectfully, no need to remove any comments on my behalf, I simple make it a rule to stand up and confront those who are obscenely hateful or disrespectful to any race or nationality. I wont comment anymore, feel free to remove my comments though if you so chose
@samuils Race and nation are just ideas and don't actually exist. Zionists conspired to convert America to goyim through genital mutilation so they would serve Zion and fight for the state of Isreal. Parents simply do as they are told by the authorities . In this case the authorities sold out the people.
@astuc8 Oh I see you are a historical scholar, or should I say self hating conspiracy mad driven schizo. Yeah, with that last statement of yours, Im done talking to your brainless crap. History doesnt support your crap, so just quit while your ahead. Have a nice day, asshole
On a brighter note , I'm extremely joyus that japan even cares about judaism at all.
I know there are japanese who completely embrace judaism , the problem with that is the jews are liars and theives and they will drag the japanese people right back in to pagan animal sacrifices.
warning to the japanese , we are Melchizedek as Mashiach is Melchizedek
That means jew and gentile in one body.
I know you might think it means righteousness is my king but I just told you what else it means.
There are big differences between Israel and Japan. The Japanese do not have prohibitted food. Japanese Gods in the myth sums to 8000000. But there are simillarities. The both are the only two civillized non-chiritian countries, the both have culture or belief that have been handed down since their establishments. And the both have once shocked the world by having well-planned sneak attacks on enemies.
■The reasons that Koreans fabricated the fact of Ainu 1■
★Korean people are abusing Ainu matter for "Discrimination Business" So-called "Ainu discrimination problem"is supported and made up by Koreans. Their aim is getting money by claiming the discrimination. If Ainu is a Caucasian, it is very inconvenient for them. So, Koreans group forced to change it from Caucasian to Ancient Northern Asian.
■The reasons that Koreans fabricated the fact of Ainu 2■ Koreans also made up the "evidence" in order to prove it. By the Wikipedia, it is written that "although recent DNA tests have not shown major genetic similarity with modern Caucasian Europeans" But this is bullshit. Because, ★Monitored persons at that test were all Koreans who pretending to be Ainu.
■The reasons that Koreans fabricated the fact of Ainu 3■ First of all, it is very clear that 100% pure Ainu person have not already existed. And Nobody can judge whether someone is a real Ainu or not. Then, such kind of test is meaningless. Koreans abused it.
★Based on the sense of values of Confucianism, it is thought that Korea is a elder brother of Japan. So, For Koreans, it is very inconvenient fact that Ainu is a Caucasian.
■The reasons that Koreans fabricated the fact of Ainu 4■ Because it means that Koreans are inferior to Japanese also in human race. (Note: South Korea is one of the most fierce racist country in the world) So, They fabricated the fact. (Note: This is one of several reasons that Koreans has anti-Japan sentiment) But ironically, Japan has not been a Confucianism country, not even once. Koreans cannot understand it, even now.
@SamuraiTogo Wow! This is a lot of information I was unaware of. What do you think the Korean response would be to the idea of Japan's connection to ancient Israelite society? Thanks again for your comments!
★As I said before,Koreans have taken over and ruled Japanese political institutions after Japan's defeat of WW2. Especially major media are perfectly ruled by Koreans.
They always fabricate the fact and praise South Korea and disdain Japan. So, Japanese who don't use internet, don't know the truth.
Japanese major media ruled by anti-Japan Koreans ,seldom broadcast news about Israel and Jews.
@SamuraiTogo Thank you very much for your comments. I have heard there are some old folk songs in Northern Japan that can only be translated into Hebrew. There could definitely be a connection, although I think the Ainu could be related to an earlier migration of people that were traveling after the last ice-age, and related to the Native people in parts of Alaska and Russia. What do you think?
After that, Ainu people, as a leader, had constructed Japanese societies with Asian "Yayoi-jin" people.
(Caution: Not surrendered and swallowed by Asian "Yayoi-jin". As the evidence, Ainu leaders were very respected and sometimes worshiped as one of over 8million God by "Yayoi-jin" )
And they had become blood-mixed year by year.
But some Ainu people disliked blood-mix and moved away to North-East.
The roots of all religion are pagan and astrological..the jews are no different...nor any other race or religion..furthermore who cares where the jews are ..they were nomadic and leached off societies everywhere
When Qedamawe Haile Selassie made Ethiopia's first constitution, He looked to the Japanese to see how theirs' was set up. Because Japan had a Monarchy and a Constitution.
I also read an article about how once there was gonna be a royal marriage between the Monarchy of Ethiopia and the Monarchy of Japan.
The Japanese admired the Ethiopians because they said the Ethiopians are warriors and would fight for their freedom.
The Hebrew Slaves of 1492 was not of the northern 10 tribes but was Judah and Benjamin. The 2 tribes that was not taken to Babylon - (this is explained in the 2 Book of Kings). The tribes of Judah and Benjamin fall under the this curse:
Deu 28:68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy [you].
2Ki 17:25 And [so] it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, [that] they feared not the LORD: therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which slew [some] of them.
2Ki 17:26 Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
Here it is explained how the "Jews" today came to be known as "Jews' but are not of the House of Israel (blood related).--
2Ki 17:24 And the king of Assyria brought [men] from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed [them] in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
Judah is a black tribe. The last Hebrew King to sit upon the throne of David (which is God's throne, of the tribe of Judah) is Qedamawe Haile Selassie. An Ethiopian King of Kings. The Royal language is Amharic and African Semitic language which is a modern form of Aramaic. "Jew" is Judah. Judah did get taking into slavery after the 10 northern tribes.
@poodle8noodle I was surprised too as to how little academic research had been done on this topic. My guess is, that that will soon change. Thanks for your comment!
@JCatsuki All the tribes of Israel were Jewish...what transpired after the destruction of the temple when the dispersed is another thing but they were all Jewish.
@comicstew Great point! Although, it seems there is some debate about what to call them. Were they Hebrews, Israelites, or Jews? I think Jewish is a modern name. Thanks for your comment!
@WorldTurtleMedia The term 'Jew' derives from the word 'Judah', one of the non-lost tribes. From Wikipedia..."The Hebrew name is derived from the region name Judah (Yehudah יהודה). Originally the name referred to the territory allotted to the tribe descended from Judah the fourth son of the patriarch Jacob (Numbers). Judah was one of the twelve sons of Jacob and one of the Twelve tribes of Israel (Genesis)."
@WorldTurtleMedia You got it... And Jacob's other name is Israel. So basically Jews are Israelites and Israelites are Hebrews, or at least a Hebrew Tribe., :3
.
I wonder what happened to the other non-lost tribe, Benjamites I think, did they virtually lost? Merged with the Jews?
@WorldTurtleMedia Maybe they should check Chinese and Korean origins too... as Jap, Chi and Kor look like each other and share cultures.
Some people say Japanese are from China, then Korean from Japanese. Or it just go round in circles. If researchers would also end up Chinese and Korean Cultures influenced with Hebrew culture, then we can also say that Japanese origins are from the lost tribes. :3
@raibale "a suddenly found link"? Actually, there are many interesting links and those links are not just sudden as some have been observed for some time. "politically motivated"? Perhaps you are the one with a political agenda.
I hear that the Japanese have a word "ante" which means "you", and I hear it is also a "Jewish" word for you. This would not surprise me because Ethiopian Amharic language "ante" means "you". We should all be aware that the people who call themselves "Jews" today are not Hebrew. They are in no way related to the black people in the bible. Japan and Ethiopia have an interesting relationship that goes back. Ethiopian and Japanese history should be closely examined.
@Yaqob13 Thanks for your comment! The word for 'you' in Japanese is 'Anata' in Hebrew it is 'Anta'. Thanks for adding the Ethiopian Amharic word as well. I wish I knew more about this connection! Please send along any more info!
@raibale In this case there are more than subtle links between Jewish and Japanese culture. It is these dramatic similarities, and a healthy sense of discovery, that has motivated me to produce this video...as well as the great privilege I have had in witnessing these rituals. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@Alien5p True, Jews aren't any better than others as far as being human. The Jewish people are somewhat different as a group. Factually, Jews have contributed to bringing progress and/or change to the world in numbers way beyond their population and resources.

CharredStereolith 4 months ago
@CharredStereolith Thanks for your comment! Actually there were very successful Jewish communities across Asia. In particular the Jewish community in Keifeng China was a known to be extremely important in the development of that country. In reality there were communities in many important trade route cities before the lost tribes became lost, and all the way through until today. Many Jews from Keifeng are now reconnecting with this heritage. Japan was only the last stop...

I guess.
ArturoYamashita 8 months ago
The truth is....Japanese are NOT Jewish nor believing in Judaism. They basically don't have a racial supremacistic thought or chosen thought. But, some Japanese might have a blood of ancient Israeri people. There's no wonder people came to Japan Island from middle east in over 30,000 years of history. And there were many tribes lived in Israeli in ancient times. In the history book bible said, there were a descendant of Asian in Israeli. I guess some exiled to Asia region.
ArturoYamashita 8 months ago
@ArturoYamashita Thanks for your comments!
WorldTurtleMedia 8 months ago
@WorldTurtleMedia I'm guessing Japanese have the blood of Gad tribe or Samaritan. Samaritan sounds familiar to Samurai. The complicated thing is Samaritans aren't said very well from Hebrew's perspective as well, because of their multiple belief and mixed blood with other tribe. The fake Jewish are the pure trouble making Hebrew people disgraceful. I think they do that on purpose to vanish Asian roots of Israel from history. Many of current Jews are nothing to do with Israeli or hebrew.

garlandstrife 9 months ago
@garlandstrife Wow! Thanks for all your insight! Most of it I can't argue with...but I would correct you on a few things. First of all the Yayoi period dates back to much earlier than the 8th century, more like 250 BCE. And it is not at all definite this group came from mainland China or Korea. Some research I have read suggests this group migrated along coastal trade routes from the south Pacific.
WorldTurtleMedia 9 months ago
@WorldTurtleMedia You are right on the Central Asian markers, but they are also present on Han Chinese and Korean peoples and many Turkic and Moglic populations. The presence on modern Jews of this markers may come from the Khazar Empire in Central Asia. Its main religion was Judaism as well as Shamanism, Islam and Germanic Paganism from the Gothic population they had. Many Ashkenazi Jews may be Khazar descendants so in a way they are Turkic as the Khazars were Turkic.
garlandstrife 9 months ago
@WorldTurtleMedia The South Pacific hypothesis is also considered for the language. As many linguistics have pointed out Japanese and Melanesian languages have similar grammar and sound very similar too. There are many mysteries regarding the true origins of the Japanese race, but I believe many theories are just made up by Japanese people that want to feel apart from their neighbors. In the past they believed they were the sons of the Sun, now they want to be more of a "western/chosen people".

WorldTurtleMedia 9 months ago
Even as far as Peru there are some similar Inca words that some people speculate are related to ancient Hebrew. Just as I mentioned, coincidences doesn't make something "true" or "valid". I could mention thousands of words that are found in many languages of the world not even remotely connected and that doesn't make them even related.
garlandstrife 9 months ago
As for the rituals, this may be based on VERY ANCIENT human pagan rituals kept intact and as I mentioned with the symbols, many human populations have similar rituals, words, symbols and even racial features with another culture they're not related at all. Some african cultures practice similar rituals to jewish rituals and festivals. There's even one church in Ethiopia and population that claim descending from Abraham and that they have the ark of the covenant. Of course none is proven.
garlandstrife 9 months ago
@garlandstrife I would agree there must be ancient common rituals among humans based on our relationships to nature and each other, but the rituals in Japan that I refer to relate very specifically to similar principles spelled out in the Deuteronomic reforms from ancient Israel. Thanks again for watching and for all your thoughtful and knowledgeable commentary!
WorldTurtleMedia 9 months ago
This was a hotly debated theory among historians in the past but once we discovered DNA and haplogroups this was debunked quite a while. Japanese are genetically VERY SIMILAR to their neighbors China and Korea, in fact studies showed modern Japanese are recent (8th century) Korean/Chinese immigrants (Yayoi) that mixed with the aboriginal Jomon related to the northern Ainu tribes. Only some history conspirators and "Dan Brown"-style writers believe this stuff in Japan nowadays.
garlandstrife 9 months ago
People like to make a big fuss of just some coincidences. Many symbols, including the 6 point star of David are found all over the world, same with the swastika and crosses. Just because there are some similar or identical symbols and other stuff doesn't mean Japan was founded by Jews, then the same could be said the other way round, maybe Jews are Japanese. What? You look shocked! Buddhist temples in Japan have many swastikas, that doesn't make them Nazi or Aryan, right? Bunch of fallacies.

SamuraiTogo 10 months ago
■The reasons that Koreans fabricated the fact of Ainu 2■ Koreans also made up the "evidence" in order to prove it. By the Wikipedia, it is written that "although recent DNA tests have not shown major genetic similarity with modern Caucasian Europeans" But this is bullshit. Because, ★Monitored persons at that test were all Koreans who pretending to be Ainu.
SamuraiTogo 10 months ago
■The reasons that Koreans fabricated the fact of Ainu 3■ First of all, it is very clear that 100% pure Ainu person have not already existed. And Nobody can judge whether someone is a real Ainu or not. Then, such kind of test is meaningless. Koreans abused it.
★Based on the sense of values of Confucianism, it is thought that Korea is a elder brother of Japan. So, For Koreans, it is very inconvenient fact that Ainu is a Caucasian.
SamuraiTogo 10 months ago
■The reasons that Koreans fabricated the fact of Ainu 4■ Because it means that Koreans are inferior to Japanese also in human race. (Note: South Korea is one of the most fierce racist country in the world) So, They fabricated the fact. Korea had been a slave country of China and Japan,Manchuria,Mongol for a long time.
And Korean cultures are dead copy of China and some part of Japan.
Korea has no proud thing, Korea have not invented any innovative thing at all,
and still rely on Japan in every fields. They still cannot do anything without foreign aid.
So,Koreans have strong inferiority complex.
That's why, they always instantly want to rely on some other strong existence like China, Japan, Jews, USA,,,

About relationship with Jews,
★South Korea have insisted that Koreans and Jews are same tribe. But Jews and Israel government ignore it.
On the other hand, Jews and Israel government are insisting that ancient Japanese must be Jews.
But Japan and Japanese have little concern about it.
As a matter of fact, ★Israel is one of the most pro-Japan countries. Many evidences exist like BBC survey.
But many Japanese don't know the fact. Because Japanese media don't broadcast it.

Japanese major media ruled by anti-Japan Koreans ,seldom broadcast news about Israel and Jews.

Ordinary Japanese love Israel and Jews and Arab nations and Arabian people.
So, Japanese are basically affirmative and welcome the fact that ancient Japanese are Jews.
But Japanese media ruled by anti-Japan Koreans, is pro-Arab and anti-Jews, and always interrupt it.
They always lead Japanese to negative thinking for Jews and Israel.
They always label Israel as a strong assailant, and Arab as weak victims.

★Ainu is the original and first Japanese called Joomonjin who looks like a Caucasian.
Some of them had moved away to east in order to avoid blood-mixture with Asian people.
Many of them had become to live with Asians who came in Japan later,
and blood-mixed with them.
So ,★Many modern Japanese has Ainu's DNA.
That's why Japanese face looks like Central Asians, much different from other East Asians.
If Jews were Ainu people, it might be said that original Japanese were Jews.
SamuraiTogo 10 months ago
@SamuraiTogo Thank you very much for your comments. I have heard there are some old folk songs in Northern Japan that can only be translated into Hebrew. There could definitely be a connection, although I think the Ainu could be related to an earlier migration of people that were traveling after the last ice-age, and related to the Native people in parts of Alaska and Russia. What do you think?
WorldTurtleMedia 10 months ago
@WorldTurtleMedia
You are welcomed.
I totally agree with you. But one thing I would like to point out.
Ainu people had come in Japan through Alaska and Russia, not Korea and China. That is true.
But many people are misunderstanding that Ainu people had lived in only Northern Japan.
In reality, Ainu had lived in all areas in Japan and established first country in Kyushu (west Japan) .
But later, many Asian called "Yayoi-jin", had come in Japan through Korea and China and other Asian countries.
SamuraiTogo 10 months ago
@SamuraiTogo Thanks again! Your comments are very helpful!
WorldTurtleMedia 10 months ago
@WorldTurtleMedia
And finally they had settled in Hokkaido.

@comicstew Great point! Although, it seems there is some debate about what to call them. Were they Hebrews, Israelites, or Jews? I think Jewish is a modern name. Thanks for your comment!
WorldTurtleMedia 1 year ago
@WorldTurtleMedia The term 'Jew' derives from the word 'Judah', one of the non-lost tribes. From Wikipedia..."The Hebrew name is derived from the region name Judah (Yehudah יהודה). Originally the name referred to the territory allotted to the tribe descended from Judah the fourth son of the patriarch Jacob (Numbers). Judah was one of the twelve sons of Jacob and one of the Twelve tribes of Israel (Genesis)."
WorldTurtleMedia 1 year ago
@WorldTurtleMedia You got it... And Jacob's other name is Israel. So basically Jews are Israelites and Israelites are Hebrews, or at least a Hebrew Tribe., :3
.
I wonder what happened to the other non-lost tribe, Benjamites I think, did they virtually lost? Merged with the Jews?
JCatsuki 1 year ago
@JCatsuki Yes, it seems that the tribe of Benjamin basically merged with the tribe of Judah to become the modern Jews.
One of the lost-tribes that is associated with possible Japanese connections is the tribe of Menasseh.

No
China and Korea has the same culture because Korea had been a slave country of China.
But Japan has quite different culture from them.
★The difference between Japan and China,Korea is bigger than the difference between Japan and France.

No
Japan and China and Korea has the different figure.
★Especially, face is different.
Japanese looks like a central Asian mixed with Caucasian and Asian.
Chinese also a mixture with various human races, but a little bit looks like South-East Asian.
Korean is a non-mixed human race, so Korean has a much different face from Japanese and Chinese.

Blah blah blah. Jews aren't any better than any other group of people.
Alien5p 1 year ago
@Alien5p That's true...But Jewish culture has influenced the world in more ways than people realize. Thanks for watching!
WorldTurtleMedia 1 year ago
@Alien5p True, Jews aren't any better than others as far as being human. The Jewish people are somewhat different as a group. Factually, Jews have contributed to bringing progress and/or change to the world in numbers way beyond their population and resources.
