  • What brand and model machine is that? Looks like a nice one. Nice crazy quilt, too. Thanks. :)

  • @richfincm It's a Kenmore Ultrastitch 12. Its a much older machine. Its circa 1975-ish? She had to get her tension replaced, but she's a good ol' machine. I've been slowly sprucing her up with stickers and bindi gems. If you want suggestions on machines, just send me a message and I can send suggestions.

  • This is a neat technique. The lack of perfection needed to accomplish something that looks nice makes it good for anyone, really. I like it because I love to use up all the little bits and pieces. :-)

If you want a neater look try doing this basic method onto foundation pieces which you can later join by whatever method you like. I've done both strips and squares on lightweight muslin. They turned out quite well, though I've not finished the quilt. :-/

  • @MEStephKJV I think thats something I might have to try as my next project, after the hexagon and selvedge quilts I'm working on

  • This was so great and I enjoyed watching you cut the pieces and the way you explain everything is so clear! Plus I love how fun you make it look! :)

I love your KittyCat too! Yay for the love of Black Kittys!!! oxox

Thanks for sharing Kiera love! ;)
