Oh my god, I don't care how long ago this was, I've had an epiphany, one to save Edgeworth. The DL-6 murder had two shots right?(don't correct, I'll watch the rest anyway), so what if Edgey threw the pistol setting it off the first time, but not hitting anyone, then Yogi used to pistol to shoot the second time!!!! Gah! I love these games, gets my brain working.
You're allowed to forcefully take something by zapping a defense attorney in a room in a police station? Hmm...that's interesting. Laws change in 2016 apparently.
Lol I figured the whole case out one video. SInce Edgey senior was trying to stop Von Karma, obviously he would want him out of the picture so he can keep it perfect.
Another thing about the gun is then why did it go off twice when being dropped? so obviously if Edgey Jr. Did drop and it fired it would have hit the glass like in the crime scene photo. and someone else would have had to shoot him for real.
at WORST it's manslaughter, and that's if your attempting to cause the victim harm. Miles was protecting his father. so:
via Right_of_self-defense it would be perfectly ok.
and accidentally the gun had a ridiculous fault and somehow went off (guns are hard to misfire for THIS exact reason) plus miles was a Minor!!! how stupid is it that this could be used against IF it is true.
WHO CAN BE ALOWED TO CARRY A STUN GUN AND NOT BE SOMESORT OF OFFICER!? THE VILLANS THAT'S WHO! USE THE KNOWLEDGE THAT HE HAS A F***ING STUN GUN IN COURT DANM IT! D:<
sigh for the time phoenix take a photo copy of important evidence before making a move like that, and the original you place in a safe. know what go back to the old man's safe and hide it there. then dig it up in court right up von Karma's nose.
@karsten69 All evidence and knowledge about the case must be displayed to both the prosecution and defense, otherwise the party which withheld such information can be jailed.
You know what drives me crazy about this series....in the last game made Apollo Justice, Wright ends up in trouble for presenting false evidence......BUT ALL THE PEOPLE IN THESE GAMES ARE DOING SOMETHINGL IKE THAT IN THIS GAME...WHY ARN"T THEY EVER GETTING IN TROUBLE?!!!!
@Rexamallion Because this world has a strict Anti-Wright Mindset where they have to make the situation as hard as possible for Nick. He has to do all the investigating, he's the last to know about anything because nobody tells him, and if something happens it's HIS fault. It's only natural that HE'd be the only one to get in trouble for something like this.
Not only that, but also. He was a kid back then, and considering the situation they were in with the oxygen deprivation. The court could not consider him responsible and make him take punishment in the present.
@ShadowkingA321 it's based on the Japanese Court system where you're guilt until found innocent. As a result, you find better success as a Prosecutor rather than a Defense Attorney. Needless to say, this is also why Pheonix gets so much crap and has to prove EVERYTHING.

Me: I can't believe I have to show him this letter to progress in the game. It's clearly a bad idea! Oh well, it can't be that bad.

WHY.
why are there so many prosecutors yet so few defendants in this game
ShadowkingA321 2 years ago 17
Cause the prosecutors kill them....:) Just look at Von Karma for crying out loud.

@ShadowkingA321 we dont know that because your a defendant how many of them are you gona meet in court when your one of them

@ShadowkingA321 because criminals don't like defendants, as such they wind up dead [mia fey, gregory edgeworth, etc]
lugiawingsKH 1 year ago
@ShadowkingA321 The might of the defendant is equivalent to a thousand prosecutors.
