i agree with gameroom. modern "sesame street" is nothing compared to the sesame street of the 90s, which i watched growing up as a little kid. i love this song && am glad that someone put it up. it's a great reminder of what used to be. does anyone remember the skit about the king alligator? ahh. i loved that.
Does anybody have the clip w/ the little kid.... his mom sends him to the store for "a loaf o'bread, a container o' milk, and a stick o' butta"? I need to see that one.
if you have to ask "WHY?" it was up loaded then you don't get it... give it about 20 years and look for something that interested you as a kid. This is Video influenced a generation of people out there and sometime we "old people" like to revisit the past and remember who we are and where we were.
I agree, for some reason I couldn't stop thinking about this song, for a while, for no reason at all, except that I remember first watching this on sesame street. I guess one would have to feel this way about something nostalgic to understand, so thank you sooo much to the person who posted this. my brain and I can finally rest!
Awesome clips like this demonstrate just how much that show, and most educational programming for kids, has deteriorated in the past twenty five years. I pity any parent who has to sit through the crap PBS is generously calling Sesame Street today.
I was scared at this song as a 6 year old

They were still using this sequence in the early 80's, I remember it so well around 1981/82 when I was 3 years old, very classic!

These 'pinball' segments were some of my favourite parts of Sesame Street while I was growing up. Mostly 'cause I knew all the words. ;-)
