i was at the front of the que and was waiting for 2 hours in the sun, then as soon as we got in it pissed it down :P was a beautiful night though, what a way to spend celebrating my A level results :D
well i really HATE this band. i hesitated clicking on this video but i have to admit they seem like they put on one hell of a show..and that stage is pretty damn cool too. but i just cant get over how much i dont like there music LOL....nice vid
What a fantastic night, U2 just get better and better, I was just behind the circle and had a fantastic view. What a night, What a band, what a crowd and what an atmosphere. Got to be one of the most memorable nights of my life. Thank you U2
i completely agree!!! i was just outsde the circle too and directly infront of the drum kit (Y) the atmosphere was amazing. I went to Wembley aswell and i would say Sheffield's atmosphere was much better.
awsome,i was in tears before it even started,i remember too back it the old days,i did some bootlegs from 83,they will never loose it,masters,n what a great vid too,i was down at front, mind blowing
Everyone who has seen this tour is witnessing something VERY SPECIAL........We were on the opposite side of the stadium (in the bit that started the Mexican Wave!!) The U2 Juggernaut has come a long way since the first time I saw them live in 1983 at Sheffield City Hall Touring the WAR Album !! The only Special effects they had back then was a WHITE FLAG that BONO would Walk with back & forth across the Stage !! HA HA....
Would have given anything for them to play this in melbourne Australia earlier this month :(

Sooon.....soooon
Sing yourself on down the street
Sing yourself right off your feet
Sing yourself away from victory
And from defeat
Sing yourself with fife and drum
Sing yourself to overcome
The thought that someone's lost
And someone else has won
Great tune - can't wait for songs of ascent

Thanks for posting this. Brings back the electric atmosphere we had at the front when they first came on. An amazing unforgettable night.
