I was merely a teenager when I discovered The music of Yaz (as they're known in the States), funny how then the depth of the melancholy lyrics never really meant anything, now that I've grown and loved, and lost, and been scorned it's so much more delicious and meaningful...Still love them, even better than ever...
their gig in Dublin was just amazing - pity that a live DVD of this was not released along with the cd

I just saw them in New York and the reaction was very similar to this. When I saw them together on stage, the tears just rolled.
