In the beginning Tito and Stalin were good with each other. After the world war 2 the USSR army occupied alot of countries from the countries from today's Russian border Bulgaria which borders with today's Serbia.Stalin wanted to be the only leader of the communism in europe and Tito was in his way because Tito was also a leader of a socialist republic of Yugoslavia.Stalin's plan was Yugoslavia to be part of USSR but Tito also wanted to expand Yugoslavia.Their ideologies opposed one another's
We need to keep in mind that Stalin's help is what made Tito do so well, as for treating him like dirt, this all occured because Stalin was pressured to give Greece to the west at Yalta with Churchill and Roosevelt, during the Greek civil war. Tito was pressured to drop out of the war from both east and west.
@AtheismCentral Tito wanted unity in Yugoslavia, even rights, safety, free medical, multi cultural support and above all liberation from Nazis and child killers Cetnicks this is why I value that leader so much, Yugoslav comunism is what kept Yugoslavia civilised and under control. It was a country full of wild dogs before and after WW2, dogs that butchered helpless women and children with knife so they could save bullets, Tito brought this to end, he stoped bad and united good.
Great video, comrade! As a big supporter of Marshall Tito myself, I was intrigued at the idea that you produced a video discussing him and his work.
As a quick note, anyone alleging that Tito was a nationalist (as some people have) should read his work, "Historical Development in the World Will Move Towards the Strengthening of Socialism". This work is easily obtainable via the same website you mention in your video.
Watch in 360p or 720p HD. Excuse the different video quality later in the video of my camera, it became darker during the day and I had to brighten the video file, causing a different quality. Both are HD.
It is sad that the USSR and Yugoslavia were so seperate. They should be Brothers!
I do spout unity constantly, but I'll say that the USSR's foriegn policy after the death of Stalin tumbled. They messed up Angolese - Chinese relations, Invasion of Czechoslovakia which made our Romanian comrades uncomfortable, Afghanistan (although Soviet Afghanistan had a great living standard) and etc.
If you talk to anyone from the old Yugoslavia you will find them to be quite supportive of Tito. He kept his nation together and let workers control industry. XD
I LOVE MY SERBIAN ALLYS MY OLD CHANNEL LGHHJHH I DID A TENNIS VIDEO ON THRE CHAMPION DJOKER SINCE THEN ME AND THE SEBRS HAVE BEEN IN LOVE AND ONE SERB IS EVEN GOING TO SEND ME SOMETHING AS A GIFT FOR CHRISTIMAS,I NEED TO RESPOND BACK TO HIM
Disunity is what allowed our enemies to pick us off one at a time - undermining and destroying the USSR and Yugoslavia while driving China back into capitalism. We must learn from this. The only way we'll win in the 21st Century is if we unite against the real enemy that is global capitalism.
There was an article posted on the Marxist-Leninist that may be of some help to others who want to be open to the Yugoslav question.
Nonetheless, the video does bring up some good points and hopefully may bring some healing to the ever-remaining tension some may say about the SFRJ and Tito.

A Serbian woman commented the NATO attack against Yugoslavia on the radio: "We feared the Russians, but were attacked by the Americans"
