  • this is really beautiful work.. and i can't believe how well michael's music fits with this imagery.

  • The opening sequence was porn!

  • it was a little more on fire than usual.

  • You make it look like some sort of movie.

  • @JohnMeetsFKennedy in the comments :) just a sony ex1r

  • I agree, really well shot. I love the shot of the cranes where one crane stretches the entire diagonal length of the frame and we can see the tiny firemen perched on top.

  • @danielh0987 Thank you so much! I think that's my favorite shot as well, composition wise

  • I followed this link from the "Man in a Blizzard" video (Ebert, WTF?)

I was all ready to hate this one... but I have to say. This is wonderful!

Triple Fire rainbows, very nice work man!

<<---Care to check out my answer to 'Man in a Blizzard' - it's nothing like... but just as *cough cough* Oscar worthy lol

  • @DirectedBySteve hahaha thank you! Just watched let it snow in 1080p, was fantastic! good work there, definitely keeping your page bookmarked

  • @Jon124 1080p WTF? How did that happen? I wonder if this is a new setting? I thought 720p was my limit.

I noticed yours is in 1080p too. Same I just have a netbook at the moment. 360 is all I can muster. I'd love to see yours in 1080p. All the best mate. Steve!

  • I just commented about this on Ebert's blog. Hopefully you get some notice.

The firefighter shots are really incredible. That sun through the smoke too. Love the music. It's all good. I mentioned in my comments it reminds me of Kubrick and Michael Mann a little.

  • @chiefbrody73 oh wow thanks man! happy new years!

  • Meant to comment on this a couple weeks ago. Saw Idiot with a Tripod today, which made me think of this. This has that one beat, IMO.

What kind of camera did you use?

  • @chiefbrody73 wow thank you! it was shot on a sony ex1r
