She's so hot. I know it's part of the stall tactic, but I love her smile at 1:01. Angus/Ross should have been cast in more movies, he had charm, too.
Such a fun scene, even on its own. Angus & Jackie are such great characters. I'm surprised this movie isn't better known here in the US, but I think its reputation is going to grow.
@blunklaura I found mine in in the used section of a Blockbuster. Look in the places for old, used things. You may just find it - Starstruck isn't exactly a common movie, but it is the kind of hidden gem that sits in a garage sale, you know?.
I'd be surprised if you couldn't find it on Amazon. I wouldn't go to eBay, because I would think that a movie like that would go for cheap on that site (popular eighties movies are 'in', or so I'm told.)
i love this song its my fav. song off the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish they had it on itunes i want this song sooooooooooo bad. does anyone knw where i can get this song?
Holy crap! I can't beleive I found this on Youtube. Saw this movie only once when it first came out. I was a kid. That song stuck in my head all these years. Would love to see that movie again.

My God, this is an awful picture as well as an awful musical from the first frame to the last. This fiasco belongs right up there with the 80's musical disaster epic "Can't stop t he Music" and the even more self destructive Golan/Globus "musical" The Apple.
wow this brings back memories. My class was actually in the middle of the crowd for this scene along with other schools from all over Sydney. That was the best fun those 3 days off from school back then.
I have been trying to remember this song since I saw the movie 25 years ago-the line "I Go Ape" stuck in my head. I loved the movie, and am thrilled to finally hear this song again!
Ok - it this comes through twice its just cause I'm a techno-retard. Such a good movie! 10 points if you can tell me who the roadie is who drops to the floor and pushes himself off-stage at the start of this clip...!
Thank You :)

Gee i thought the band was going to launch into " Whip It " by Devo.
I still love this intentionally quirky
aussie musical. Well done Jo Kennedy.

Watch the necklace. At 3:09 the clasp breaks and it starts bouncing out of the top of her dress. By 3:42 it's back around her neck.
