I often disregard it in my work out routine but after watching "get up and go 8" i realize it is a lot more important to do than I thought! Plus I love doing back extensions since they make me feel so powerful. So the next time I am in the gym I'll be sure to track down that contraption and enjoy getting a great back for summer!

  • another awesome video - JNL you have completely inspired me to work hard and get my body to look like the way i want it to be. I broke a vertebrae about a year and a half ago and holy cow - i never thought i'd do "normal" things again but now i'm doing great and lifting weights 2-3 times a week when i was told i couldn't lift anything over 3 pounds! not only did reading your story encourage me to get my pre baby body back, but ive developed a real love for the industry - so thank you!

  • Thank you JNL! I think the back is a great muscle group to focus on! It's filled with large and some small muscles and I think many women neglect it; either because of lack of knowledge or focus. Most women focus on arms, abs or butts, no? But just like JNL says, the back is the number one injury and it's really what holds us up! So, awesome, awesome job at really bringing this subject up! I did my back workout today, so I feel extra pumped now!

    I just discovered you two weeks ago and you're a true inspiration. I hurt my knee 4 years ago and totally stopped with sports which of course resulted in gaining weight (about 40 pounds) but I feel like an alien in my body ever since. So to see a mom can do it and get such incredible results, that was just the boost I needed. I already went skiing 4 times in the past week and the knee was just perfect. I'll keep on (watching you too) and hope to feel like myself soon.

    I love Get Up & Go! When I'm about to give into the pain I remember you saying "if I can do it, you can do it..." You're so right!

I watch these video's over and over and get SO MUCH motivation and inspiration to take my workouts to the next level! I am a mom of six with a 16 mo. old 30 # little boy.   • OMG your great. I love the fact that youre a real woman, mom and also struggled with the same issues we do. Your back workout is great. You are so motivational and wonderful. I want to wear that backless dress. I love that you bring us into your kitchen as well. You help all of us women and we love you for that.
