Dude, I am a hardcore Venom fan, and the Venom portrayed in that movie was a disgrace. One, he wasn't nearly big enough. Two, Venom in the comics was not a heartless killer. He had a sense of honor and the only thing that really made him a killer was his hatred for Spidey, but he wouldn't go outta his way to hurt innocents like he did in the movie. If they wanted a heartless monster they should have just included Carnage...

i agree it was a disgrace but the first venom wasnt really that large and at first he was a heartless killer who then gains honor and becomes a anti hero and saves spidey a few times and even works together to take on carnage but yes i do believe if they want something totaly out of his mind then carnage is the way to go
