Je boot le T91MT en 36secondes sur Ubuntu 11.04 (sans rien toucher , instal d'origine avec Tactile fonctionnel , peut Être Multitouch mais là faut bidouiller)
ive been looking at all these netbook/tablet pc atom processors, and this one by asus has a great balance between function and price point. I just hate how slow netbooks are with those intel atoms....but you need to find a balance between price and function and this one might be it. cant beat 499 for multitouch and windows 7
You don't get the boot animation because the screen's native resolution is smaller than 1024x768, which is the resolution of the Windows 7 boot animation, so it just defaults to the Vista screen. Kind of disappointing, really.

thanks for the video man... I'm so tempted to buy one of these ahhh! I wish my 4 year old Toshiba U205-S5002 wasn't so perfectly bulletproof.

why does it have a vista boot animations?
and the hibernate resume should be the logo not a progress bar

The boot animation was also something that strange me.
But I did not change the system and the T91mt come with the same win 7 premium family.
To make this video, the computer has been shut down, wait a while to prepare the video and just power on.
I don't bother with cheating ^_^'

Its because 7 is based off vista code. even the version number sais that. Vista was 6 and 7 is 6.1 ;) but thanks for the video

@williewillus1220 its probably because its low preformance, win 7 recognized it and maybe because its starter edition

Of course, the video is play at normal speed ! (I should have had a clock on the back to show it wasn't speed up)
The only trick is to remove all useless tools and applications to improve speed of SSD.
With 2 Gb memory, I disable SWAP file and WINDOWS RESTORATION !
Wich speed up a lot your system !

I have a new video with a stopwatch so you can compare :)

@pgk2006 i've noticed too in vista that sometimes the icons speed up. I don't think this has anything to do with it, probably just some glitch

sympa !
je songe à m'en acheter un pour faire de la programmation multitouch sans me ruiner, héhé

Barrette kingston so dim ddr2 / 2G 5300

This SSD boot time is not Out Of The Box !
I replace the 1 Gb DDR2 6400 memory with a 2 Gb DDR2 5300 !
I disable windows recovery service
I remove Asus Gate utilities and other unuseful application
I disable pagination swap file
I kept OFFICE 2007 but remove Works
and barely these are the optimizations done
