The flood was created by the precursors to get revenge on the forerunners because they killed 99 percent of all precursors in a war. the forerunners found the stored away flood and unleashed it on the galaxy by mistake. they'll never get rid of it, ever.
343 better not mess up. I don't trust them. Just because it's halo doesn't mean it will be good. Bungie isn't here anymore, we're dealing with a whole new team. These guys should've just made their own universe and game instead of going on with a legendary series like Halo.

Master Chief receives the Mark VII armor after he is rescued by the UNSC Infinity very early in the game. They're just showing off the armor since it's the main armor in the game. No point in keeping in the Mark VI if it's only going to be in for one level. The villains could be Precursors and/or Forerunners. Precursor's are a type of Gravemind that created both humanity and Forerunners. The Flood is a test for Humanity to receive the Mantle. Also that's not a jetpack, it's a zero-g thruster.

The Timeless One even said that it was "at hand", if you read Cryptum.
Basically, the flood would have never been able to taint the galaxy if the forerunners had've left it alone where they found it.

I was the one who found it matches with the Assassin's Creed trailer, but since I've heard it matches with Arkham City and several others. Or could it be Wings of Icarus by Celldweller? yes the teaser is a bit cheesy and a new company owns it but still, its another story,

I mostly don't want a new Halo game because I thought Reach was supposed to be the grand finale, so I feel tricked. Also, I worry that the longer the franchise will go on, the lack in quality will begin, and Halo will just become one piece of crap after another.
