I have never seen a 7 beat a supra in person So i cant say they are the kings of the street.Usally in Tampa/Orlando/Miami there are 8-9 second cars on the street.I cant even fit into a 7 I am 6 foot 5 so I would prefer a car that i could actually fit in :P.Both are great cars though no doubt about it :).

But from a roll race as shown above and as most people do on the street, the RX-7 would be the winner.... the reason why is because they were about 2,800lbs while the Supra was more 3,500lbs for the turbo models. That 700 lbs of weight can make a difference. That's like having 4 200lb people in the RX-7 to match the weight difference.... Nuts!

$1500 wont buy you the PowerFC, a proper tune, twin intake setup, exhaust, midpipe, downpipe, ported wastegate, efini y-pipe, high end boost controller to control the boost creep, coverting your stock twins to non-sequential, Koyo radiator, bigger intercooler, etc etc

If they are tune equal power its up to which car has better gear ratio or weight. you care to prove that "fact"? because an FD with turbo back exhaust and intake gains about 50rwhp. add a PFC with tune and you get another 15rwhp or so. add an intercooler for another 25-30rwhp. then turn up the boost to 14psi and it's running nearly 400rwhp. a supra would need more than 550rwhp to compete, and it's still going to lose ground on the launch because it's heavier. so when you take into account that an fd can be bought for about 4000$ and modded to 400hp for $1,500.. fd wins
Most stats I've read put the FD at around 13.8-14.0 in the 1/4 and the MKIV at around 13.6-13.9, that's on standard tyres, plus it depends on whos driving the car, and guarentee that the rx7 will break down before the mkiv, you know why because its built better...FACT!!!oh and tardfucker lol what are u like 7yrs old???
