  • Yeah! Im a south pawl with the power hand in front! I like this video

  • @minasz so your a convert? what hand do you throw with?

  • @cam9571 I fight both sides, but I put my best (power) side forward cuz it fits my style the most. I have power in both hands. I have a video doing some training hitting the heavybag. Im training for power and speed in both arms in the video.

  • Wow did that guy just knock Bruce Lee down at 1:12? :P

  • that first right hook counter is my signature punch lol move the head and over hand right works really good when slipping a straight right

  • nice video very will made,

  • that very first counter was beautiful ! lol

  • reminds me of the right hooks that pacquiao launched against hatton...

  • @odiousodium true

  • first one was beast of a counter o.o

  • lol same i only just decided to go southpaw so much eaiser

  • jerome is a great boxer

  • was that Gary Goodridge at 1:07?

  • wow the first punch is jus amazing! i keep watchin it over and over!

  • yeah! that's a perfect counter punch.

  • Basically thats what Jeet Kune Do teaches. Interception, which includes counter punching. Speed is always admirable in the art and your are taught to focus on counter and interception which are the main defense as opposed to blocking. Counters will always hurt you, its the punches and kicks that you don't see that will hurt you. I'm right handed but I fight southpaw, we were taught that way.

  • guys... many of them are counter punches. the best form of countering is taught in jeet kune do especially, called interception. you notice the guy moving in for a strike and counter jab before he can finish his cross. Lots of the punches in this video do just that.

This video also shows the power of a jab, and the reason I teach my right handed students to fight "south paw" or in a right stance. Stronger side should be closer to your opponent.

  • well, guess what!? in boxing your power hand goes in back so you get max power, all these are kickboxing matches, and NONE of these guys could stand and punch with a half-decent pro boxer, Thats why they kick.

  • bullshit. that's like saying basketball players play basketball solely because they can't make it in football. ever heard of a thing called 'preference'?

  • boxing is a science, thats why you dont see cross-over stars from or to boxing, its very specific........kickboxers dont make good boxers....hips too high, too bouncey, no pop.

    From your friend the boxer

  • obviously kickboxers don't make good boxers because they train kickboxing... but are you saying that even if they had chosen boxing instead of kickboxing, they would have all failed at it...? ridiculous. i've seen people come from a fucking GRAPPLING background, learn boxing and have professional fights with success

  • yea i agree Kermit Cintron came from a WRESTLING background and didn't start boxing until the age of 19. and he became a top contender until he lost to antonio margarito

  • @1dontknoww You just explained Bj Penns Careers. Kudos to you ;)

  • @1dontknoww Vitali Klitschko.

  • In Thailand both muay thai and boxing are very popular. I trained with a few Nak Muay that where both pro muay thai and boxing. One of Thailands best Orono was also a solid pro boxer.

  • are you fuckin serious i mean really. "Thats Why They Kick". ill bet you anything a kickboxer would last longer boxing with the best boxers than a a boxer kickboxing with the best kickboxers

  • im a southpaw, and i do those sometimes, but i like doin it more with my left hand i duck low while they throw it and whilethey miss i come back up with my heavy left

  • I can only see the 1st and the one at 59 are counter punches.

  • half of them aren't counter punches at all...

  • Jerome Lebanner is the big white guy with the bleached hair knocking everybody out. Got too much power that guy

  • The best part of watching the fights. Everybody loves the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.
