I came across Helena Citrónová's story while watching this series. Her sister was saved from the gas chambers but she left her two little children to die alone. That mother deserved to die, not her children.

@duonoaikouka Isn't the population of the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza increasing at a far greater rate than the Jews in Israel? Usually when referring to genocide it is a systematic mass murder of a population on an industrial scale. One interesting aspect of this time was the idea that the Germans had that lesbians could be convinced to carry babies for the nation. (in another comment) I'm sure they're gardening wasn't much for pleasure, were that is located isn't near they're barracks or regular work places. @Scandinaviaerbestur Yay for the garden and pool, which was probably used by the German officers, because they as you so many times have said, hated the Jews, why would they put in those things for them? They did use gas chambers, a different gas could of been used for the shower gas, and holes could of been filled. Considering the doors were locked from the outside, with thick iron doors, and 3+ inches of glass that was a peep hole. guess they just liked to watch 'em shower, hm?

The death of a parent? The death of anyone? I just cannot fathom how you can possibly do that. @SampsonNation The title music you refer to is called "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs" by the late Henryk Gorecki. Then there's the dramatic "Sarabande" by Handel. I also recommend the album "Memoryhouse" by Max Richter, a German neo-classical composer who contributed most of the pieces for this series. My personal favourite is a piece called "On the Nature of Daylight", it's not on the soundtrack for this documentary, but it's well worth a listen. All tracks I've mentioned are on youtube.
