well , that's a good video for a non-bowler to try hooking the ball. i wouldn't suggest this to intermediate players tho.

I have a reactive ball that is suppose to hook but I can barely get it to hook at all... It's been measured for my hand and everything and it's fingertip style...

Any suggestions?

if its sized right then the only thing that can be wrong is that you are releasing it wrong. watch pro bowlers and watch how their hand comes out of the ball, how it is so smooth and their fingers alway come out last and how right when their thumb comes out they use momentum and strenght to force their arm upwards to give it more reps. the person who drilled it might have done it wrong who knows lol good luck though.

Perhaps it's not helpful to everyone, but i'm sure someone will see it and study it and get something out of it. Perhaps this person is trying to see how much room the ball is giving him.

one thing i always do when i'm playing is throw it out to see what is out there. minor adjustment on this person's starting position and he'll probably be set.

Some of the hook can be produce by to fingers with give more turn ... but for pros they used 3 full fingers...

2 finger DISADVANTAGES: sprained finger injured fingers.
