I recall reading an interview years ago, (I think it was in Rolling Stone) that Nile Rodgers said he originally wrote "Upside Down" for Sister Sledge & "He's The Greatest Dancer" for Diana Ross. I think Diana turned down the song "Jump To It" in which Aretha Franklin liked more from Nile & Bernard Edwards.
