The term "homophobic" implies fear. I fear no one but God. I know the anguish of battling sexual addictions that God and fellow Christians view as sin. I have prayed for deliverance and for strength to resist but sometimes it seems to no avail. So because I can't seem to overcome, should I just accept it as normal? I feel for those who struggle but It angers me to be told I need to embrace a lifestyle that contradicts scripture! Twist them to support your beliefs all you want. It's still wrong.
What's next? Lobbying for acceptance of pediphiles? You are so blind to the obvious. It's as simple as checking the plumbing. Anatomies of the same sex were not designed to fit together. Yes, there is more to a marriage relationship than procreation but when have two people of the same sex been capable of producing a child through the act of sex WITHOUT ANY help from science? No, I am not homophobic nor do the hate gays but this is one hetro Mennonite who wil NEVER accept your agenda.
I don't know you, so I can't really say whether you are homophobic or not. But to fair, I'll point out that you don't know me, nor lots of the other GLBTQ Mennonites this video was created to support--yet you feel the freedom to openly compare homosexuality to pedophilia. From a gay person's perspective, that is a homophobic comment.
If only finding a loving relationship was as easy as "checking the plumbing" on one another. We'd all be matched up rather quickly, wouldn't we?
Now when I see this video, I think of standing with all of the youth singing while all the delegates walked out of their session. We had so many smiles, and so many people who stopped to listen. Very powerful. Go Pink Menno!
this is so powerful. these faces represent all of our parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, best friends, fellow members of our congregations, etc. the faces represent love. thanks, philip.
Justin - Thanks for your honesty commentary. I hope you'll seek out a pinkmenno supporter and have a short conversation at Columbus. That is really the goal of PinkMenno--to get people talking about this issue that so violently divides our church right now.

Stand for what the bible says, and pray for the people that are being tempted by homosexuality.
