I don't know why, but I love the scene here where Lord Death is in the death room. He looked like he was in quiet reverence which really contrasted with his cartoony-ness in the rest of the show. Ironically, his cartoony qualities are what almost drove me away from this show in the first place. haha

It pretty much summed up the whole series: You don't need to be strong to be a hero, you don't need any special qualities to be a hero, you just need to find that inner bravery, I don't get why people find that so disappointing, I really don't think they could have ended it any better! (Except for maybe not ending it and continuing on :P )

@SableOrpheon The whole "Courage Punch" just seemed like a horrible way to end things. Kid and Black Star could power up and go bad-ass and couldn't even put a scratch on him, but his face breaks when Maka punches him because her punch had "courage." I can't buy that because Kid's and Black Star's attacks had courage so they should have done the same thing. And Maka being a weapon and a meister, while that does make sense, throwing it in in the last ten minutes didn't really work

You kind of DO need special qualities to be a hero. You need to be strong.
