  • Very few if the liberal baby-boomers, of whom I am one, joined the SDS. That is a very very poor way to analyze the data. In particular because the very small percentage of baby boomers who were conservative tended to all join YAF because they needed to band together, they were such a minority among baby boomers. These guys do not know what they are talking about.

  • no one so far has been willing to "publish" the book in audio form. But there is a new book coming in the fall, MILLENNIAL MOMENTUM, so maybe we will have better luck with that one. Thanks for your comments.

  • I love watching your videos and because so, I plan on buying the book. Is there any chance of an audio book too?

  • Excellent!

Millennials = The new greatest generation

  • Keep in mind that survey data never finds 100% agreement. All we are discussing is overall trends, not individual beliefs or attitudes. Glad to know you are a liberal Gen Xer. Just keep in mind there are more of those among Millennials than among people of your age.

  • i am 35 and i voted for kerry, cause i thought he was better than bush! so what they are saying either is bs...or im really a millenial! im not conservative.....maybe im really a millenial and not gen x......

  • thanks for the comment. Check out our book, Millennial Makeover, for more statistics then you may ever want to read. Generations define attitudes and beliefs as survey research stats document. Today's 20 year olds are not the same as 20year olds from two decades ago, etc. We never make sweeping generatilizations, but we do document the size and direction of this generation's beliefs.

  • surveys aren't entirely correct though

you can only say you really know if you ask every millenial tbh

  • I think you guys are missing the ball in your analysis. It's not the age demographic that drives causation with what we identify as 'our' politics. I think your definitions of liberal and conservative need to be changed substantially. Todays 20 year olds value a lot of the things that conservatives value but not all of them. I am a strong conservative but I had a very hard time identifying with McCain. Sweeping generalizations can only be substantiated by sound statistics.
