This may go down like a lead balloon, but I feel that the relationship between Casanova and Henriette is so much better in the sadness in its entirety than the relationship between the 10th doctor and Rose. Anybody else think so?

@johndude969 I never thought about it, but now that you mention it I have to say - you're maybe right... the sadness that surrounds Casanova and Henriette is heartbreaking...

@johndude969 I didn't like Rose...I was pretty glad to see her go. The relationship between Casanova and Henriette was much more believable and ten times sadder then the 10th doctor and Rose.

@johndude969 To be fair, it's like comparing apples and oranges, though. Casanova has just a short human life. The Doctor lives for a long, long time. The Doctor's life is always about moving on, while we humans only have a short time to have the love of a lifetime. If we lose it, of course it's going to be a bigger tragedy. The Doctor lives long enough to have another chance. And thus...while tragic, not *as* tragic.

Anyway...gorgeous guy, I can watch him in anything ... ;)
